We all froze. I leapt up and wrapped the scarf around the egg, grabbed some salmon and curled around the egg. The egg cracked a bit, then more until, it broke in half revealing a teeny purple dragon with blue leather wing skin.

"Mommy?" she asked.

"I'm sorry my cutie. But your mommy is gone." I told her.

She started to cry.

"I can be your mommy for now." She perked up after that so I gave her some salmon. Skye came out of her cage and started neighing and whinnying to the little dragonet. She seemed to understand. She hugged Skye gently.

"What should we name her?" Quinn asked.

"Kiko!" I said instantly.

"Guys, um we can't exactly care for a small dragonet this whole time!" Red said.

"MEW MOOP MEEP JUMI NOOMZ!" Kiko yelled.

"Oh really?" Red said to her.

"Shmo Jilly?" Kiko retorted.

I couldn't help but laugh. "Don't worry." I said to Red. "My mom enchanted Skye's cage to shrink to fit into small places. That's why it fits in my bag. Kiko is small enough to fit in Skye's cage, because it is designed to have a tall ceiling so she can fly around." I said.

"What happens when she grows?" Red asked.

"Dragons mature fast. She would be big enough to walk on her own. Then she could fight with us." I replied.

Red seemed to accept that she lost. "Ok then, let's go now, like to the Dragon palace!"

"We would have to leave Kiko here." I said. "But Skye can stay with her, and I can put protection spells on this cave."

"Let's go!" Quinn said. "Wait.. actually on second thought. Are we sure this is a good idea?" Quinn said pointing to a bear off in the distance."

I rolled my eyes. "Yes Quinn." I said. "This time we can fly so we won't have to worry about the bear."

"No!" Red burst out.

Quinn and I both looked at her, puzzled.

"Oh!" I said. "Of course! The dragon patrols will see us! You're a genius Red!"

Red sighed, shaking her head.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Nothing." She answered.

As we walked (Again, And yes around the bear) Red looked troubled but she wouldn't talk about it. I gave everyone a healing potion my mom gave me. Instantly our legs felt better. When we came across a large red stripe painted as far as we could see, I said, "Now, here is the plan; I will change into Dragon form, and fly up to the palace. I will address the king with a problem. Now Red, you said that the dragons were after a normal wolf, correct?"

She nodded.

"So then i'll say that I saw a grey wolf sneaking around with something in his paws. This would be the 'object' that they are looking for. Quinn, you would fly up with me with your recording stone and record the conversation. Red, you fly up to the Dragon council room. The light is on so they must be having a meeting. When Your toes start to burn, that means the spell is starting to wear off. Oh and Red take this" I handed her my spare recording stone. "Is that clear?"

"What?" I asked when Red didn't answer.

"I er-um I can't fly." She confessed.

"This whole time! Why didn't you tell us?"
