Tomorrow I woke up in the best mood. I couldn't be more excited for today. I stayed at Emma's tonight. I got up and made both her and me coffees. After I served her in bed I started to get ready. I knew it would be a long day so I wanted to keep it fairly comfy. I FaceTimed Ethan and Grayson as I was getting ready and they were helping me because I was so nervous. "I know everything will go fine but I don't know what if I mess up?" I said holding my head in my hands. "Mia stop you can't mess up. They reached out to you because your amazing remember." Ethan said. I smiled and saw I had to leave soon. "Ok thank you guys I got to go though. Love you" "Bye love you too, drive safe." They said in sync which made me laugh. "EMMA IM LEAVING NOW" I shouted up to her. She ran down stairs and hugged me. "Ok have so much fun. Omg I'm so proud. Ok do you have everything. Why am I panicking for you? I feel like a mom omg. Ok have fun I love you. Text me when you get there!" I laughed and waved goodbye. — When I got to the building it was pretty nice. I told the front receptionist my name and she sent me to floor 3. Once I got up, there was about 3 office rooms with glass windows and I saw a door labeled recording room. "Mia over here!" I heard coming from my left. I recognized that voice immediately. "Khalid hi!" I said. He hugged me and introduced me to everyone else. "Ok so this is Lindsay the head of the record company." She held out her hand for me to shake and I did. "So Mia lets just start with the facts. Your an amazing singer. And we have noticed more covers coming into your channel. I think you could be someone. Not just the girl behind the camera. Something more. I want to sign you and if your down I want to get right to work on your first debut." I couldn't process the words coming out of her mouth. "Yes I would love to sign with you guys. We decided to release a single first. I want to write all my music but Khalid offered to help me get started. I had a few songs already written but more couldn't hurt. A week after my single dropped Khalid was gonna release a single featuring me. Words can't explain how excited I am for these. Khalid was reading over some of my songs. "Mia this one is so good." I looked at which song he was reading. "Yeah? I wrote it about my ex." I laughed. "Actually most of those were written after my break up." I shrugged. "Fuck him." Khalid said flipping through the songs. "Facts." I replied. While I was in the studio I filmed a cover of you and I by lady Gaga and was planning on posting it tonight. — We ended up finalizing on the song for my single. Tomorrow we were recording it and we were releasing it a day before I left LA. (I know the process is not this fast). It was about 3:30 pm and we started wrapping up — Everyone was sleeping at James's house tonight so I drove there and picked up pizza for everyone on the way. I was so tired but I didn't want to be a burden and not come tonight so i chugged a Red Bull before going and called it a day. When I got there everyone was on the phones but quickly started asking many questions. "How'd it go?" "Are you and Khalid besties now?" "Did you sign? You signed right?" "Wait are you like releasing an album?" "Ok guys chill" I laughed and took a seat next to James. "It went well. I did sign. Khalid was amazing. And there are fun things to come." All there faces dropped "That's it? Your not gonna tell us what" Ethan said annoyed. "Nope. But you can listen to this cover and tell me if it's good enough to post." I said sitting back pulling out my computer from my bag. "Why won't you tell us?" Grayson whined. "Because I want it to be a surprise." I shrugged and pulled up the video. Once it started playing they all shut up and listened. Thank god. We were all sitting listening and eating pizza. Once it ended they clapped. "If there was any doubt in your mind to post that then sis we need to talk." James said "I have no words. Dude you got talent holy fuck." Emma said. I giggled and started to post the video. I have only posted covers on Snapchat and twitter but I wanted to show my subscribers this is something I'm doing. "I'm in the mood to go for a drive." I said standing up. "To where?" Ethan asked. "I don't know. But let's go watch the sunset" everyone looked at one another and shrugged. Then proceeded to get up and grab essentials.
