*a month later*
I have been working like crazy, but it's fine because sis has been thriving. Right now it's around 3Am and I'm on my way to Graysons. I have been sleeping there every night because we can't find time in the day to hang out so cuddling at night and breakfast is the time we get to spend together. We are making it work. I pulled into their driveway and saw a white Mercedes parked in my spot. We only know one person with a white Mercedes. Did Emma come over? If she did that would be weird, no?
I parked and got out of my car. As I walked to the front door it opened, revealing a very disheveled Emma. I stood there in confusion. Why is she leaving at 3am?
"Hi Emma" I said causing her to jump.
"Holy shit Mia you scared me." She breathed out holding her chest.
"Whatcha doing?" I asked raising my eyebrows and smirking.
"Oh just ya know, going home." She said shifting her weight front and back.
"Emma why were you here?" I asked laughing at how awkward she was being.
"Ethan called me over, and we talked. Maybe did more then talking." She mumbled the last part. I raised my eyebrows in shock. Is ethma getting back together?
"Holy shit. What does this mean for you two?" I asked genuinely curious
"I have no fucking clue Mia. After we broke up I missed him so much and apparently he missed me too. We didn't settle on any label though. I'm scared he just wants to be friends with benefits or whatever." She rambled on. I noticed she was starting to get chocked up so I pulled her into a hug.
"Talk to him about it whenever you are comfortable. If you want I can bring it up tomorrow to him. Whatever happens though I'll be right here for you." I said rubbing her back.
"Thank you Mia. Could you just mention it, see where his head is at. I don't want to open to him just to find out he isn't on the same page." She said softly.
"Of course. I will at breakfast tomorrow." I said pulling out of the hug and resting my hands on her shoulders.
"You such a good bestie" She said in a goofy voice.
"You sure you don't just want to sleep here? We could just sleep on the couch together if you don't want to be in bed with Ethan." I offered.
"No it's fine, this is your cuddle time with your man. I have soul cycle in the morning anyways." She said. I nodded.
"Ok. I'm gonna go to bed. Drive safe, I'll call you tomorrow babe." I said blowing a kiss to her.
