chapter 24

*Kellin Pov*

i stand there watching miw sound checking, well everyone but Chris, he doesn't have to do anything just drinks coffee as he walks on the stage talking to the crew, i feel arms go around me.

"i love you, you know that right" Vic whispers in my ear

"i know, i love you too" i say and he kisses my cheek.

"everything okay?" i ask,still looking at the band in front of me

"every things fine" he says holding me tighter.

we don't speak anymore words for the rest of sound check, we just listen to Ricky and Ryan test their guitars and ghost playing the bass, balz left to get water, my back pressed against Vic's chest, his chin on my shoulder, his arms tightly around me.

sound checking for motionless in white finished and as soon as Jaime made his way onto the stage, Vic's arms slowly moved off of me and we walked outside, we are currently standing next to each other, our backs pressed against the brick wall of the venue, we haven't talked, the only things we can hear is the wind, and some kids who are out front of the venue waiting for doors to open, little do they know that if they walked to the side of the building they might just see the leader singer of pierce the veil. at this point i think they only want to try to be in the front and wouldn't want to lose that chance by leaving the line.

"vic, talk to me" i say breaking the silence

"hi" he says with a slight smile that fades instently

"what happened? who did you talk to?" i ask

"i talked to mike"

"its not his fault, it was me, im sorry vic" i look at him with concern and he looks back

"its not your fault, dont look at me like that" he says and i look down

"im not mad at anyone,im just tired" he says

*Vic's Pov*

"im just tired" i lie and i walk closer to kellin.

"want to come with me to the front of the venue and surprise kids?" i ask and he looks up at me

"i dont see why not" kellin says as he looks back up at me and  i give him a smile, i slip my hand in his and we start walking to the front of the venue, the line is huge, maybe this was a bad idea, i feel kellin's hand tighten.

"its okay" i whisper and we get closer to the kids

"i heard this pierce the veil band is lame" i say and everyone turns to look at us, lots of kids go wide eyed, some are obviously here only for motionless in white, they dont really seem interested in me, but thats okay, maybe they'll stay and end up liking my band.

kids start freaking out, tons asking for photos from a far.

"stay in line though, i'll try to get to everyone" i say and i look over at kellin he smiles at me.

"dedication, i like that" he says and i laugh

"well you could stay here and watch the dedication, or you could try to get a member of motionless in white to come out here and help the craziness begin" i say

"start with the back of the line, i'll be back" kellin says and his hand leaves mine as he rushes towards the side enterence we came from.

*Kellin pov*

i go backstage and knock on ricky's and chris's dressing room, i wait, the door opens revealing ricky olson with mikeup on his face.

"hey kellin whats up?" ricky asks with a smile 

"so vic is doing this crazy thing where he is going to try to meet every kid whos in line right now, and he wanted to see if i could get one of you guys to come take part in this" i say and he smiles

"daring for him, isnt it, sure, i'll go" he says and we start walking to the door.

"makeup looks good on you" i say and he laughs

"you think i look weird, dont you"

maybe...

"no, not at all" i say as i open my door and we walk out.

i watch as vic hugs a crying fan.

"please dont cry" i hear him say softly, i walk closer but not too close to ruin the moment, im just close enough to listen.

"your real" the fan says still crying and vic rubs her back,

"i think i am, and so are you, and i love you" vic says and him and the fan back out of the hug and she smiles at him

i watch as vic talks to fans, makes them smile, makes them laugh, and i watch ricky do the same but no one talking to him is crying.

"come on babe, doors open in an hour" vic says as he kisses my cheek.

"rick" i say and he turns to me, he says his goodbyes to who he was talking to and we all rush inside.

"that was insane" ricky says smiling

"i think i got everyone" vic says and they start talking about fans and everything like that, i just realized, vic and i have nothing in common, i've never had a fan, i've never had a job, and heres vic with lots of fans, a job as a singer, friends who do the same, he could've fallen in love with anyone just like him, but yet hes with me. hes with me.

*No ones pov*

kellin stayed by vic's side the rest of the night, they watched motionless in white's set together, at this moment pierce the veil are on stage and kellin is sitting in ricky and chris's dressing room.

"i've realized, vic and i have nothing in common, im just a high school student, hes currently on a stage" kellin says

"opposites attract," ricky says

"but really he loves you, it doesnt matter how different you are, you have one thing in common" chris states

"whats that?" kellin asks confused

"you both love eachother" chris says

the rest of the night was just ricky and chris helping kellin get his feelings straight, vic ignoring his band, as soon as vic got off stage he went to kellin and they went to dinner together, and now are in the back lounge alone playing plants vs zombies. enjoying eachothers company, but kellin still doubts things. and for mike, he has a huge plan up his sleeves he started making it up the second vic and kellin left the venue.
