It's been a month..

One month nang hindi nagpaparamdam or nagpapakita man lang si Rook. Bihira na din siya magpakita sa Death Pub. And fortunately, sa mga bihirang pagkakataon na yun, hindi nagtatagpo ang mga landas namin. Dahil kung sakaling magtagpo kami, baka hindi ko na mapigilan ang sarili ko. Just the mere sight of his annoying face makes my blood pressure to rise.

I guarded Kelly so hard.. Pero hindi naman yung tipong nasasakal na siya sa akin.. Yung term na 'sweetly possesive' lang.. I just can't believe na mag-four months na kami sa 24.

For others, it's just plain 122 days.. But for me, that 122 days mean happiness, joy and love.. Kung tutuusin, nag-uumpisa pa lang kami compared to other couples.. But time frame is not what we're talking here, it's the feeling.. And i'll make sure na kami pa din ni Kelly hanggang sa huli.. Even our parents has agreed to that idea.

I heard the door of my room opened.

"Son?" si dad pala.

"Yeah, dad?" sagot ko.

I waited for him to come over to my bed before i sat up.

"Happy Birthday, kiddo.. Slightly legal age ka na ah.." nakangiting bati niya sa akin.

"Thanks, dad.. I'm 18 finally. So, kelan mo ite-turn over sa akin ang ilang assets mo?" i joked.

"Soon, hijo.. Ba't nakahiga ka pa? Why not hang out with your friends or with Kelly? Why don't you celebrate?"

"I'll be going out later.. I'll just take a long rest.."

"Do whatever you want.. Just don't come home wasted."

"Sure, dad".

Nagpaalam na din si dad after some reminders. I laid flatly again on my bed.

It's December 12 today.. My 18th birthday.. Tss. 18 na ako pero nasa highschool pa din ako. Damn that jackass who shot and killed my mom.. I've been traumatized for more than a year making and it delayed everything in my life.

I grabbed my phone under the pillow.. I smiled in instant upon seeing the wallpaper.. It's a picture of us nung tinuruan kong mag-drive si Kelly. Medyo mahirap siyang turuan. She's nervous na baka mabangga kami eh nasa isang open field naman kami dun sa lot na binili ni Dad for possible location ng ipapagawa naming mall.. She gave up din and said na hindi naman niya kailangan matuto mag-drive at nandito naman daw ako para ipag-drive siya.
