After all the hardwork of last four years, finally I stood in front of the gates of my dream. Finally the day came, the day of Photo Bhoot. I stood near the gate where pictures of all the photographers who had come to the exhibition were displayed. I stood with my hands shoved in my pockets, fast breaths and heart beating so fast that it would any time soon would break my ribs and glaced on the on the board with my photo and 'The Hot Talent Of The Year- DARSHAN RAVAL' written on it. I super excited, happy, nervous and what not, on the same time. I felt a pool of many emotions inside me.
The vibe of the exhibition, the photographers present there, the collection of the photos and specially the people who had come to the exhibition, everything was amazing. I talked to a lot of people and learnt many more things. It was such a pleasure to talk and be with the people I always looked up to. I felt so lucky at that time to be there and continuously thanked God.
The exhibition was going very good. It started at 10 in the morning, it was 5 now and it would continue till 9 and I was super tired by now itself still the craze of being there kept me going. By now, my photos were doing very well. A lot of them were already sold. The buyers talked to me, appreciated my work and the sponsors were super happy with me. "I selected you on my responsibility and now I am feeling very proud of my decision. You made me believe that I didn't do a mistake, boy", one of the sponsor had said to me and trust me, after that, I was on cloud nine. My self esteem raised and the desire to work even harder and come back the next year grew in me. "Darshan", the same sponsor called out. I looked towards him, he stood with two people with him and gestured me to come; I followed. "Meet Mr and Mrs Sinha. They just bought one of your photo and badly wanted to meet you", he said. "Hello sir. Hello ma'am", I greeted them with the brightest smile possible. "Hello Darshan. We just loved your work. It's so amazing", Mrs Sinha said. "Ya. I mean the moment we saw your photo outside, we thought that you are very young and you would be less experienced but the moment we saw your work, our minds blew away", Mr Sinha said. That was a compliment, right? "Thank you", I said with a chuckle. "By the way, which one did you buy?", I asked. "The one in which there's a girl with her face covered but is peeping out from side", Mr Sinha explained.
