Juliet's P.O.V
Hi my name's Juliet Simms. I live in a foster home in London and I've been here since I was 6 and right now I'm 13.
This is my story.
My parents use to love me unconditionally, they would tell me, but that was all a lie. When I turned 4 they began to have problems. One night they both came home drunk out of their minds and beat me. So one day I guess they just got tired of me not doing anything right and dropped me off here two years later.
Now here I am in my room waiting for this stupid thing to be over. Today we have this contest about whose getting adopted by some famous band. The people who take care of us made all of us join. Yeah, like they would pick me. I walked over to my guitar and played my favorite song 'Marilyn Monroe' by Nicki Minaj. Music helps me forget which is exactly what I wanted to do right now.
