After my first and last class at the University of the Republic, I was taken to this place called the Jedi Temple. Now don't get me wrong, I thought it was pretty wizard to be going to the best school in the galaxy, but trust me, I wasn't a Jedi!

When I got to the temple, my mom and dad were waiting for me in a conference room with this little green guy. "Hi Honey! I'm so proud of you!" My mom gushed as I walked in. My dad slapped my shoulder playfully but it honestly hurt pretty bad, "You're going to make a great Jedi son!"

The little old green guy was staring at me. I was pretty freaked out but then he waved his little stick in my face, "The Force I do not sense in this child..." he said quietly. My parents frowned but I breathed in relief. Maybe I could just go back to school and forget all about this.

But then the green man smiled, "But used the Force, he has. Garuntee a spot in the Academy that does! Welcome!"

My mother clapped happily, "Wonderful! When does he start?" I stepped forward, "Excuse me... but I didn't use the-" The green guy smacked me with his cane, "Interupt you do not! Much to do there is! Head Master Yoda I am. Pamphlets you need to read!"

Master Yoda threw a piece of paper at me. I looked down at the front page.

                        Jedi Academy

    For Force Sensitive Individuals (FSI)

               Head Master- Master Yoda

         Dean of Students- Master Windu

I handed tell pamphlet back to Master Yoda, "You don't understand. I'm not a Force Sensitive Individual, whatever that means. I'm just a regular kid."

Yoda whacked me again on the forehead, "Regualr you are not! Skipped five school years you have!" I sighed, "Okay, maybe I'm not regular, maybe I'm really smart, but I am not a Jedi!"

My father crossed his arms, "Kevin! Don't speak to your head master like that!" Yoda slapped another pamphlet in my hands, "Correct your father is. Listen to me you must! Read the pamphlet you must!"

I accepted the pamphlet, "With all due respect Master Yoda, I don't think I'm qualified for the Jedi Academy. And besides, I'm too old to start training anyways."

This time, Master Yoda poked me right in the gut with his stick which knocked the wind out of my shrimpy body. "Acceptions we can make! Argue you will not! Pamphlet you must read!"

My mother smiled, "Kevin darling, don't worry about it. We have everything taken care of. All you have to do is Listen to Master Yoda and this new school will be great!"

I frowned, "But I'm not-" Master Yoda waved his three fingers and Force pushed the pamphlet right in my face, "Less talking more reading!"
