Today was a good day eventhough I was at work I don't know why but I've been feeling happy lately although ILil be happier once my little Princess yes that's her name gets here.

I was just walking out of a patients room  checking vitals looking down at my clip board double checking the files when I bumped into something or more like someone.

I looked up to see the familiar deep brown eyes I knew well except one of them was swollen.

"Careful now I already got one black eye don't need another."Mike chuckled.

I smirked.

I noticed his eye earlier but I wasn't going to ask about it since it had nothing to do with me.

My brain was still trying to wrap around the fact that I'm having his baby and having to keep it a secret at work since he's a doctor and I'm a nurse there's a strict no dating higher ups policy.

"Don't you want to know how I got it?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes.

"Let me guess you didn't pay Geo his money."

He looked at me.

"I told you not to talk about there here.."

"Whatever it is I don't care." I told him and started to walk off.

"What if it was related to Tristan."

I stopped dead in my tracks and turned around.

"What does Tristan have to do with this?" I questioned him.

"Now you want talk."he smiled at me with his stupid face.

"Yes I do now tell me." I ordered.

Mike started looking around.

"Walk with me." He said.

I sighed.

"Fine."

We started walking down the hall.

"So what happened?" I turned to him and asked.

"Your ex husband just came to my office and punched me in my face." He explained.

That didn't sound like Tristan..

"He didn't just punch you in the face for no reason.. what happened." I said.

"He just came all mad and was threatening me and sayin he was going to kill me and to stay away from you." He told me.

I just looked at him I was about to walk away once again.

"Candy can I ask you something?"

"What I huffed.

"Is Tristan usually violent or unstable?"

I turned and looked at Mike.

"No why you say that?" I raised my brow.

Mike shrugged.

"Something seems off about him..and I don't think I would want my daughter around an unstable household."

"Fuck you I'm done with this conversation and you don't talk to Tristan."

"Actually you should tell him to not come to my job and punch me." He scoffed.

This time I walked away and nothing Mike could say would make me listen.

Now I had to Tristan he lied to me..

Later that evening after work I was at home sitting on the couch with Charlie and my car fluffy as Tristan walked in the door.

"Hey babe it's quiet where the kids.

"They already ate and in their rooms I told him." Looking dead at him.

He tensed up.

"What's your problem did you have a bad day at work."

"Oh I wouldn't call it a bad day but more of I found out something very interesting today." I told him.

Tristan sat down on the couch and started taking his boots off.

"That parents should actually vaccinate their kids." He commented.

I wasn't in the mood for banter so I cut straight to the chase.

"Did you talk to Mike the other day I said. Crossing my arms.

His eyes grew wide.

"Before you kill me just remember your pregnant, we have three kids and I canceled my life insurance so if I die your all screwed."

"Why did you do it when I SPECIFICALLY said not to!"

"Because Candy there is something wrong with him.. are you sure that it was just sex?"

My eyes grew wide I couldn't believe this.

"Yes for the last time it was nothing but sex."

Tristan looked at me.

"He's in love with Candy I can tell and it's not normal.."

"Tristan I'm sure it's nothing just a crush he's young he'll get over and find a new girl and then I'll be old news."

"You'll never be old news to me." Tristan smiled moving closer.

Ok maybe it was my hormones but Tristan can say the cheesiest stuff and still make me smile even when I'm pissed at him.

I gave him a quick kiss.

"Look just to be on the safe side just don't talk to him and he won't talk to you fair."

"I guess." He said dryly.

There was a loud knock on the door.

"Who's that I asked about to stand up.

"I'll get it Tristan said as he answered the door.

It was a police officer.

"Tristan Michaels your under arrest for assault and battery.

"Woah what are you talking about!?"I said in shock as Tristan was being handcuffed.

"Mam he was reported attacking someone at the hospital."

"Dad!" Chanel called out as she tried to run to Tristan but I held her back as Kiara and Cody rushed down the stairs.

We all watched as Tristan was put into the cop car and then the cops got in and drove off down the road.

Was Mike telling the truth?
