After finding out that Candy was in New York I rushed to the airport and hopped on the first flight that I could get. Now that I knew where Candy was I knew I had to get to her quick before Mike steps in again.
It was a long three hour flight by the time I landed in New York it was three in the morning I can't lie I was tired but sleep was the last thing on my mind.
I quickly made my way through the terminal and to the front doors.
The chilled air blew against my face as I stepped out and seen a bunch a cars and taxis was waiting out by the curb as people passed by me.
I made my way over to a taxi just before someone else was about to grab it I quickly hopped in and closed the door.
"Where to?" The can driver asked.
"Lenox hospital." I told the driver.
They said nothing and started driving.

Once at the hospital I paid the cab driver and got out the sky was dark as I made my way up to the hospital doors.
I wasn't surprised to see that things were moving slow especially at this time.
Walking over the the front desk up to one on the nurses she was typing on the computer.
She looked up at me once I was at the desk.
"How may I help you?" She asked.
"Yes I'm looking for Carla Michael." I said.
Even after the divorce Candy kept my last name.
The nurse started looking on the computer the looked at me.
"Sir there's no Carla Michael only a Carla Varshavski.
I was confused but then figured that she was under Mike's last name.
"Yes I'm looking for her I said.
The nurse looked me up and down for a second.
"Room 306." She said.
"Thanks." I said making my way over to the elevators and to the third floor.
Once on the third floor I made my way down the hall and was close to room 306 when I seen the door open and of course out walked Mike.
I stepped back around the corner so he wouldn't see me.
Last thing I needed was for him to know I was here.
Luckily he went the opposite direction from me and once he was gone I made my way over to the door and lightly knocked.
"Come in." I heard.
Filled with relief to hear Candy's voice.
I opened the door but was in for a surprise I heard Candy's voice but the woman sitting in the hospital bed with long blonde hair. She was looking down at her phone.
"Um Candy....?"
She looked up in surprise.
"Tristan.."
"Yea I'm here to get you and our daughter back." I told her.
She instantly had a nervous look on her face.
"What?" I asked. Raising my brow.
"Now is not the best time." She said in a low tremble.
