The gun went off I closed my eyes thinking it was the end for me.

When I opened my eyes I stare in horror.

To see the guy that was trying to break up me and Mike was shot in the head he was laying on the floor in a pool of his own blood.

Mike made a face of disgust at him as he backed away probably not wanting to get blood on his shoes.

What a fucking prick.

I looked over at Candy who looked confused.

I seriously question her taste in men

But what does that make me a monster....

I looked over to
see it was one of the servents who was holding the gun.

Before anyone could react bullets starting flying from all directions I duck and dodge the bullents.

"Ahh!" I hear Candy screamed.

I ran to her through the crowd of people who was running and dropping like flies.

When I got to Candy she was laying on the ground her hands was covered in blood.

She was shot in leg.

I was about to help her up.

I felt something hard touch the back of my head.

I turned to see it was Mike.

"Don't move," he ordered.

"Fuck you dude."

"Excuse me." Mike glared at me.

"Your just an entitled psychopath..no your a sociopath your crazy was created no one is born this crazy."

"You know I was going to be nice to you and let you live but..

He pointed the gun at me.

"You pissed me off."

As he was about to the pull the trigger.

I seen something hit him in the back of the head as he fell to to the ground.

Candy was standing behind him on her wounded leg.

She was holding a plate.

"Come on let's go before he wakes up."

She extended her hand to me.

I looked at her confused.

"What do you mean wake up?"

"I can't explain right now we need to get out follow me."

I followed her.

I noticed her leg was bleeding less.

"Are you ok?"

She turned and looked at me.

"Yea I'm fine she told me."

We swiftly ran through the kitchen and made it out of the back door.

After we made outside I grabbed her by the arm and pulled to the side by a tree.

"What the hell is going on." I demanded.

Candy looked at me.

"Mike had been testing some
"super human" experiments.

"And it's been working it's also his theory trying to cure cancer."

"Fuck the cancer...super human experiments." I was shocked.

Candy nodded.

"Yea like shots..they range from being able to heal faster, becoming stronger, and faster."

I looked at her is that why..

Candy nodded.

"Yea I've gotten the shots but just me Princess hasn't gotten any.

"Ok good."

I heard loud laughing from a distance.

Candy looked at me.

"We gotta get off the street."

We started running down the road.

"Where are we going?"

"I know someone who doesn't stay to far from here maybe we could get some help from him."

I said nothing.

I doubts about Candy's plans.

But I was in Mike's territory and she had first class seat next to crazy.

Then the fact that he is full of god knows what.

Which means I would have to trust Candy.
