Tristan was at his house in his bedroom tossing a shirt into his duffle bag.

A woman with short brown hair was sitting on the bed looking at him.

"I wish you didn't have to go this weekend."

Tristan zipped up his bag and looked at her.

"Im just going for the graduation you know my Nikki would have my head if I missed her graduation.

He grinned then kissed her on the cheek.

"Besides I plan on being back tonight." he told her.

She smirked.

"Is you ex wife going to be there?"

"Yes I told you that she's going to be there Cindy." Tristan said shaking his head.

She crossed her arms.

"I don't get why you live across the street from her anyway..."

"Because I want to be close to my kids... look I'm not about to get into this."

Tristan tod her.

His phone ringer and he seen it was Candy.

Cindy looked at him.

"Speak of the devil himself." She smirked.

Tristan narrowed his eyes at her.

"Hey you on your way yet?" he asked answering the phone.

"No I'm still here can I ride with you my car is acting up." Candy said.

"Uh sure I'm finna leave anyway." He said.

"Ok cool."

After that he hung up the phone.

"What she wanted?" Cindy asked.

"Her car not workin and she need a ride." Tristan shrugged.

She rolled her eyes.

"What's wrong with you."

"Really you leaving for the weekend and she needs a ride don't you see what's she's trying to do." Cindy explained.

Tristan sighed.

"It's just a ride and we been divorced for a few years now I promise nothing is gonna happen I'm with you but I need you to trust me.."

"I do trust you I just don't trust that bit..."

"She's the mother of my kids."

"Fair enough but.."

Tristan walked over to her and gave her a kiss.

"You have nothing to worry about baby." He smiled.

She grinned.

"Ok babe I trust you."

They made their way downstairs to answer the door to see it was Candy.

"Hey you ready?" Candy asked.

Cindy rolled her eyes and made her way back upstairs.
