I quickly op for a bottle of Jack.
I turn around with a frown on my face when I see Sweet Pea giving me a very concerned look.
I try to avoid his eyes and look toward my feet. I try to walk past him but he catches my wrist.
"What do you want?" -I snap at him
"Mikayla..." he couldn't finish his sentence without looking down at the ground and placing his hand back at his side.
I scoff and turn to pay for my drink. I hand a 100$ bill to the cashier and I turn to leave.
Sweet Pea holds open the door for me.
I slowly and cautiously go through the door. He closely follows.
"Mikayla I think you should come with me" - Sweet Pea said quietly
"Sweet Pea I am not hooking up with you in the alley" -I say with a smirk
Sweet Pea turns his head to the side and stares back at me.
For awhile
"What?" -me
Sweet Peas face lights up
"I enjoy seeing you smile" -Sweet PeaThis made my stomach flutter and almost pushed out a brick outta my ass.
I stop with my grin
"Grinning is not smiling. It's grinning." -I say very clearly
Sweet Pea holds up his hands in surrender.
I scoff and turn to go down to sweet water river. Making it clear for him to follow.
I hold my breath and focus on letting the burning liquid flow into my mouth and down my throat. I pull the bottle away from my mouth and gasp for air.
I drank about a good quarter of the bottle already.
And my brain was feeling it. 🤯I turn and offer the bottle to Sweet Pea. He nodded his head and took the bottle from me.
I smile when I see his start gulping down the poison, clearly out of competition.
When he breaks his embrace with the bottle I hid my smile and look off to the distance. Though I could feel his eyes on me.
I toss the cap to him and pull out my pack. I light a spliff.
