Emma's P.O.V.

That summer at the Burrow was terrible. Riley woke up crying every night, and George and Mrs.Weasley had to rush in to calm her down. George just stayed in his day clothes because he said he didn't get any sleep anyway. But he said it didn't matter. Riley was worse off than he was.

When we got back to Platform 9 3/4 to begin their seventh year at Hogwarts, Ron, Hermione, Harry and I's fifth year, and Ginny's fourth year, we all crowded onto the platform.

I spotted Seamus instantly and ran over to him, pushing my trolley in front of me. I stopped when I reached him and said, "Hey, Seamus! Hey, Mrs. Finnigan!".

Mrs. Finnigan made a point to glare over in Harry's direction. Seamus just looked at his mum, then at the ground.

I raised a questioning eyebrow. Don't tell me Mrs. FInnigan believes those rumors that Harry is crazy?

When we sat on the train, Seamus picked a compartment away from where Harry, Ron, and Hermione were sitting. I stopped at Harry's compartment to say a quick, "Sorry. Seamus must be upset about something.". Hermione smiled at me, and Ron and Harry just looked at each other with a sad look on their faces as I left the compartment to go sit with Seamus.

"Hey Seamus." I said as I sat down, "Is something wrong?"

"Hey Emma. No. Nothing's wrong. Just me Mam."

I nodded, not wanting to press for any more because he seemed reluctant to give out even that.

We sat the ride in silence. I don't know where Luna went, until she came into the compartment with Neville.

"There you are!" I exlaimed, "I couldn't find you anywhere!"

"Yeah. Sorry, we were trying to get Neville's MImbulus Mimbletonia from exploding sap all over some Slytherins that were messing with it,"

"Oh, I forgot your grandmother sent you that Neville. It's wonderful how she still cares for you even though you don't live with her. She finds her ways."

Neville smiled and nodded.

The rest of the ride was spent talking about our summers. I tried to pick out fun moments from my summer and not all of the sad moments for Riley. Seamus only pitched in when we asked him a question or his name came up.

When we got off the train, we sat at our house tables. They introduced our new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Proffesor Umbridge.

"Emma, that's the lady that was against me in the trial." Harry whispered.

Merlin! That woman really liked pink.

The next morning, I sat with the Gryffindors for breakfast. Seamus was sitting across from Harry, looking rather upset. I sat next to him and said, "Seamus. Seriously. What's wrong?"

"What's wrong? Well, just the fact that I share a dorm with an insane delousionist!"

Harry stood up and slammed his fists into the table, "I am not crazy! Voldemort is back!"

"I refuse to stay in the same dormitory as a lunatic! He could kill me in my sleep for all I know!" Seamus yelled, also standing up.

"SEAMUS! How DARE you call Harry crazy! You know he's not!" I shouted.

"Me Mam reads the prophet every day, there's no proof Voldemort's back!" Seamus argued towards Harry.

"Then how did Cedric die? HOW DID RILEY'S BROTHER DIE! DID HARRY KILL HIM? I DON'T THINK SO!"

"I don't know how he died! But Voldemort didn't do it!"

"You know how many times people have tried to turn others against Harry! What about Rita Skeeter?" Hermione said.

"This is the Minister of Magic, we're talking about!"

"THEN WHAT ABOUT DUMBLEDORE!" I yelled.

"Dumbledore is crazy too! He's old! His sanity is probably ticking away as we speak!"

"So I guess that means I'm crazy too, then? For believing Harry? Dumbledore? Well, DOES IT SEAMUS?"

Seamus blinked, taken aback about what he had just imposed.

"YOU KNOW DAMN WELL THAT HARRY ISN'T CRAZY! YOU'RE TOO GULLIBLE! YOU'LL BELIEVE ANYTHING AS LONG AS IT'S FROM SOMEONE WHO HOLDS POWER! You take Muggle studies right? Yeah? Well, ever heard of Hitler? HE HELD POWER. PEOPLE BELIEVED HIM. WHERE DID IT GET THEM? DEAD!" I shouted, "ANYBODY WHO STOOD IN HIS WAY, DEAD! This is excactly what Voldemort is trying to do! Get us to turn on each other! Then only the opinons of people who have power will matter! We'll only believe them! Before you know it, we're KILLING EACH OTHER! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT SEAMUS? YOU'RE SUCH AN ARSE! If they're crazy, then I'm crazy too! And I don't care! You know why? I'D RATHER BE CRAZY THAN DEAD!"

I stomped off, tears stinging my eyes. "How dare he call Harry crazy! Or Dumbledore! Merlin! I just - I just- I- AH!" I screamed when I ran into someone while turning a corner.

"Oh, hey Neville. I thought you were at breakfast."

"No. I was on my way. What happened?"

I sat down and leaned against a wall while I told him all about Seamus calling Harry and Dumbledore crazy.

"Emma. I'm sorry."

"Sorry isn't going to smack sense into an idiot."

"An actuall smack might, though." Neville smiled.

I let out a small laugh.

"Yeah."

Neville stood up and said, "I have to go, Emma. Bye."

I raised my hand and gave a small wave before standing up myself, and getting to my dormitory.

Neville's P.O.V.

I hate Seamus so much right now. He made Emma cry! He called her crazy! How dare he do that!

I walked over to the Gryffindor table, and watched as Seamus still stood there, in silence, probably thinking about what just happened. Harry was standing there too.

Seeing Seamus now, made me really upset. Just thinking of him saying those things.

"Hey, Seamus! Anything wrong?" I asked.

Seamus shook his head.

"SO THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH MAKING EMMA CRY?" I yelled, and punched him. I actually punched him. I punched Seamus. Ron, Hermione, Harry, and Luna stood with their eyes wide. As well as everyone else in the Great Hall. Not many people were eating breakfast this morning.

"You're an arse." I spat.
