A/N: This one's short, but I just came up with it as I was listening to this song. I love it so much!
Later that night, after everyone else went back to the Gryffindor common room to hang out, Dumbledore had let Seamus use the Great Hall for something. I didn't really know what.
Seamus and I were sitting at the empty Gryffindor table, talking and whenever I would ask him what it was he wouldn't tell me.
Seamus looked around. There were glowing flickers of light forming around a circle in the great hall.
"What the --?" I began, but Seamus took my hand and guided me to the center of the glowing circle. It was quite large, and it looked like walls. That's when music started playing. And pictures began to form on the transparent walls. Soon I couldn't see what was behind the picture. The rest of the Great Hall faded away.
"Look." Seamus said, and gently tilted my head to look at the walls. They were moving pictures. Of us. Throughout our years at Hogwarts. There was that time that I laughed so hard butterbeer came out my nose. And that time I kissed Seamus on the cheek and he almost fell into the Black Lake, blushing. Every great moment we'd ever shared.
And then I began to listen to what was playing. And Seamus took my hand in his and started dancing. I must've been blushing like crazy, because Seamus was smiling that one smile he does when I do something 'adorable'. Then I wondered, How would I ever live without Seamus? If he died in this war approaching us, what would happen to me? If I died, what would happen to him? When the song mentioned the first kiss, it showed our first kiss on the projection. The Yule Ball. I remember that so clearly you'd think it was yesterday. I saw that in every moment, Seamus was smiling at me and his eyes lit up in a way they never do when he smiles at anyone else. My heart was fluttering in my chest and I felt like I would spontaniously combust. Right before the song ended, it showed how we first met. Seamus was having trouble with his potion, and I smiled at him and offered him help. Did he really love me since that day? The first day we met? He smiled the same smile. He did. He does.
I smiled shyly and the song ended. The walls faded away and Seamus smiled at me, "Did you like it?"
"That was so cool, Seamus. How did you get that to work? Like, the walls just -- and the pictures -- " I shook my head. It doesn't matter how he did it. Just the fact he did
"Do you want to watch the rest?" he asked.
There were more?
I nodded, and the ceiling of the great hall began playing it, too. We layed back as if we were outside watching the stars, and talked about the memories playing before us. Laughing and smiling, and a lot of blushing at the embarrassing yet adorable moments.
I turned towards him and curled into his side, eventually falling asleep.
