A/N: I just got back from my first day at high school. I'm a Freshman. And since I'll be at school, I won't have all day to write. But I will usually try to write when I get back everyday. I just got back and it's 3:00 but we had an hour early out, so maybe around 4:00 I'll be back? I'll find out tomorrow if it's a full day... Oh well, onto the story. I haven't done Seamus' point of veiw yet, so I'll do that now. :)

Seamus' P.O.V.

"Hi Seamus!" Emma said, running up to me.

"Oh, hey Emma! I'm glad you could come to Hogsmeade with me. I don't really have anyone to go with and I thought we could hang out just to hang out, not because of school work."

"Yeah, cool." She said a bit too quietly.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"No." she answered quickly.

I looked at her questioningly. Why does she sound nervous? Is it because she only came to Hogsmeade so she wouldn't hurt my feelings? No. It can't be. Could it? She's my friend.

I lingered on that word. Friend. I've never really had a friend before. Friend. Then why does that sound... I don't know... it doesn't feel like I thought it would. I feel like.. friend just isn't the term I wish I could use.

Best friend? No. Good Friend? No. Close Friend? No. What about - No. It couldn't be. I'm not sure anymore.

"Well, you wanna go to The Three Broomsticks now? Or before we leave?" Emma asked.

"Maybe before we leave."

"Alright."

Harry, Ron, and Hermione saw us and came up.

"Hey Emma! Hey Seamus!" Hermione said, "Wait. Are you do on a date?"

"No!" we both answered at the same time.

Hermione raised an eyebrow at us.

Harry said, "Hey Emma can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Sure." Emma answered, and they walked over right next to The Three Broomsticks. I could see them, but I couldn't hear what they were saying.

Emma's P.O.V.

"What exactly did you see in that mirror?" Harry asked.

"Oh- um.."

"It had something to do with Seamus. You said all of your friends were laughing and smiling with you. And then you said something about Seamus."

"Oh, yeah. You heard that. Well..."

He smirked, "You like Seamus."

"No! Well.. maybe. So what? It's just a silly crush."

"Emma. That mirror shows your hearts desire."

I shrugged.

"So?"

"So, it means that it's what you want more than anything else in the world."

I stared at him wide eyed, "I didn't think of it that way."

"Well,  I think you should tell him."

"I can't! What if he doesn't like me? Then it'll just be weird..."

"Well I can get Hermione to find out without directly asking him."

"No. You don't have to. Please. Don't."

"Why not?"

"I.. I don't know I'm just..." I paused, "Listen. I haven't really had any friends all my life because I've been too obsorbed in my books. I don't want to make things awkward or different between the friends I already have. I just need to... wait."

"Fine... I guess that's reasonable."

I turned to walk away and he said, "Ron wants to know if you wanted to stay at the burrow this summer. Hermione and I are going."

"Really? Sure."

"Alright. I'll tell him. We leave Hogwarts the day after tomorrow though, remember? So I would ask you're parents as soon as you can."

"Alright. Thanks!"

I walked back over to Seamus.

"Hey Seamus!"

"What was that about?" he asked.

"Oh, just some stuff, about when we got the Sorecer's stone. He just wanted to make sure he had the facts right." I said. It wasn't a lie. It was actually the truth. I just left out what those facts were.

"Ok, well, do you want to go to Honeydukes?" he asked

"Sure! I could really go for a sugar quill."

We went around Hogsmeade and to the different places and went to The Three Broomsticks before heading back to the castle.

A/N: Yes! I know! I'm making you wait! But it just seemed more normal that they would date at around age thirteen and not eleven. So, it might take a bit, but it'll get there. :)
