Sorry

A/N: These chapters have been really short lately. Sorry about that. I've just been really busy lately. Maybe this weekend I'll write more, though. No promises, but I'll try. Thanks for sticking with me anyway! Happy reading!

Emma's P.O.V.

I sat at the Ravenclaw table the next few weeks. I didn't talk to Seamus when I passed him in the hallway, no matter how many times he tried to get me to speak. His black eye did make me feel just a little bit sorry for him, though. Wow. Neville can really throw a punch.

In herbology, I was partners with Luna, and unfortunatly, Seamus was standing right next to me.

Seamus kept whispering, "Emma. Emma. Emma. Why won't you talk to me?"

After about the fifth time, I was fed up, "You know why I'm not talking to you, you git. Now leave me alone."

"Mr. Finnigan, if you will not stop pestering other students, I will have to give you a detention." Proffesor Sprout warned.

I smirked and went back to what I was doing.

After class was over, Seamus tried to talk to me again.

"Why are you even trying to talk to me? I though I was insane?" I spat.

"You're not... It's just... Harry and... Dumbledore."

I spun around and faced him, "THAT is why I'm not talking to you, Seamus. If they're crazy, I'm crazy too. Just because your mum believes they're crazy doesn't mean you have to. That's what I'm upset about. Now, if you would stop wasting any more of my time, I have to get to Care of Magical Creatures."

Seamus turned around quickly and walked off.

Seamus' P.O.V.

I can't let her see me cry. I can't let anyone see me cry. I thought as I walked off, towards my common room.

I was supposed to be in potions, but I didn't care. I stormed up the steps, almost at a sprint, and trying not to drop my books on the way. I quickly told the portrait the password and stepped inside. I ran up to my dorm, opened the door, and let my books fall to the floor before jumping onto my bed and lying there.

I sat there for what seemed like forever, with my face buried into the pillow.

"I'm not a git! None of this is true! He's not back!... or...." I mumbled.

I sighed into my pillow, "I am a git. I'm an arse. I just... I don't want to believe that you-know-who is back. I don't want him to be back."

"Ignoring the truth isn't going to make it a lie." I heard someone say from the doorway.

"I know that now." I said, not even caring to find out who it was, "I'm an idiot, and I shouldn't believe everything I hear."

"I'll take that as an apology, then, Seamus."

"Emma?" I asked, sitting up and turning around.

I saw Emma there, her hair blue and pink at the same time.

"I'm sorry, Emma."

She shook her head, "No. I should have understood, and at least helped you see it my way."

"But you did try to help me see it your way. And I didn't listen. I'm sorry."

She sat next to me and said, "I might have gotten a little too upset about it. I've been really stressing out about our O.W.L's coming up, and I really really really want to get good ones. I want to be an auror, or a teacher here at Hogwarts, so I really need to stay on top of my grades."

I gave her a sad smile, "So we're good?"

She nodded, "We're good."

I hugged her close and we sat there for a moment.

"Shouldn't you be in class?" I asked.

"I was really stressed out so Hagrid told me to go and get some rest." she answered.

"We can hang out in the common room?"

"Yeah. I'm going to study more."

"Emma. Hagrid said you needed rest."

"I know. I just really want to do well."

I rolled my eyes, "You are so paranoid about grades."

"Am not! They are very important."

"So writing a ten parchment essay when Proffesor Binns only told us to write five is not paranoid?"

She laughed, "Okay, maybe that's a bit paranoid. Oh, and how's your eye?"

"It's fine." I smiled at her.

"What?" she asked.

"I'm just glad you're talking to me again."
