I'm Not Perfect | Seamus Finnigan

Bill and Fleur's Wedding

Harry, Ron, Seamus, Fred, and George were assigned to wait outside the white marquee in the orchard and greet the wedding guests, while Hermione, Riley, Ginny, and I were helping Fleur.

"I see you've got this handled." I said. "I'm going to go help Harry, Ron, Seamus, and George."

I looked out the window and laughed. "It looks like Fred went to help a few of Fleur's part veela cousins."

I got outside and stood next to Harry, Ron, and Seamus. George was busy helping his Aunt Muriel to her seat. (She's a rather cranky old woman)

"Oh! Seamus! I didn't know you'd be here!" a girl said, batting her eyelashes. I looked at Seamus and raised an eyebrow.

He leaned in and whispered, "One of Cassie's cousins."

I bit my lip to keep from laughing when she attempted a flirty hair flip. Emphasis on attempted.

"OH MY GOD! HARRY?" I screamed, and ran to hug the curly-haired boy. "I haven't seen you in forever! What's new?"

"I'm in a band -- One Direction."

"Wait. So you know Niall? Cassie's brother?"

He nodded. "Speaking of Cassie, she's coming up behind us."

Seamus put an hand on my shoulder protectivly when Harry and I did our secret hand-shake. I knew him when we were kids, but I'd lost touch with him when I went off to Hogwarts and he went to some other wizading school in Britain.

"I just graduated last year. I heard this is your last year at Hogwarts?" Harry asked, and I nodded.

He smiled, "But you're not going, are you?"

"H-how do you know?"

He pointed at his head, "Special gift. Quite useful. Speaking of gifts --" he placed a pendent in the shape of a star in my hand. "If you ever need our help -- meaning Louis, Niall, Zayn, Liam, and me -- just squeeze it and say you need our help."

I nodded and hugged hiim. "Thanks, Harry."

I squeeled when Cassie came through the gate, looking stunning in a red dress. "Cassie! You look amazing!"

"You, too!" she said in return.

Niall looked around. "Wish guys would lay off the staring, though." he said protectivly of his younger sister.

Draco laughed and put a hand around her waist. "I'll beat 'em off with a stick if I have to."

Many people turned to stare at Draco. Wondering what a Malfoy is doing at a Weasley's wedding.

"She looks beautiful." Hermione awed, as Fleur glided down the isle. 

"But I must say," Muriel said, her voice carrying, "Ginevera's dress is much to low cut."

Ginny glanced around, and winked at Harry who looked completely entranced in her eyes.

I covered my mouth to keep from laughing.

". . .  Then I declare you bonded for life" the man said, sealing Bill and Fleur's marriage.

We were all celebrating. I was dancing rather clumsily with Seamus, bumping into a few people and laughing, when a Lynx patronus appeared and spoke in the voice of Kingsley Shaklebolt 

"The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming."

Instant screaming. People were dissaparating. The protective charm set up around the Burrow had broken.
