Emma's P.O.V.
Seamus and I were shivering and covered in snow on our way back up to the castle.
"I h-have t-to s-s-say th-that w-was the b-best snowb-ball fight I've e-ever h-had." I said through chattering teeth.
"I-Isn't there a s-spell or ch-charm that --" Seamus suggested.
"Seriously! Wow, am I stupid." I said, pulling out my wand and waving it over me and then Seamus.
The snow that was caked under our hats and gloves and on our jackets vanished, and our clothes were warm and dry.
"Thanks, Emma. I guess we can go to Hogsmeade now, then. Just saved us a trip."
I smiled, "I actually learned that charm on my own. Well -- I asked Flitwick if there were any charms that would come in handy this Christmas -- because I was thinking of ways to get my presents in the castle without my friends seeing them, and while he was listing them, he mentioned this one. He said it's very useful while I'm walking around Hogsmeade in the cold."
Seamus nodded, "Proffesor Flitwick is probably me favorite Proffesor at Hogwarts."
"Why is that?"
"Well, he's always so happy and -- he doesn't yell at me when I accidently set fire to whatever I'm working on."
I had to laugh a little at that, remembering how I met Seamus helping him work on a potion that he'd been blowing up every try on his own.
"You know, you really can't hate potions class." I said, voicing what I was thinking.
"Why?" Seamus asked.
"I met you, helping you with a potion. For potions class. So I guess, in some ways, we can thank potions. And your habit of spontaneous combustion."
Seamus laughed, I guess so.
I stumbled into Riley. Literally stumbled.
She was in a heap on the ground.
"Riley?" I asked. "Riley are you okay!"
She didn't speak, she just groaned in pain. Her fingers were twitching, and her eyes were open, staring at nothing, full of pain.
"RILEY! HELP! SOMEONE HELP! Seamus, go get the closest Proffesor! Quick!"
Seamus bolted off towards the castle.
I kneeled down next to Riley. "Riley, come on. Speak to me. What's wrong? Who did this?"
"I can f-feel it -- It's c-coming. Make it stop!" she shouted.
"NOOOO!" she screamed.
"They came for me! T-they took it! THEY TOOK IT!"
My heart was pounding, I was worried. "Who's they, Riley!"
"AHHHHH!" she screamed in pain.
"RILEY! WHAT'S WRONG!"
"What's happened! What's happened!" Proffesor McGonnagal shouted.
I turned to see her, Proffesor Flitwick, Fred, George, and Seamus running back to us.
"I - I don't know! She just -- just --"
I was cut off by another blood curtling scream from Riley.
"Riley! What's wrong!" George asked frantically.
"THEY TOOK IT!"
"T- took what, Riley? W-what did they -- wh-what happened? P-please. Come on, Riley. P-please."
