I walked in the front door and waited until Sam was behind me. "Welcome to the side of my life, that you know nothing about."
"Where are we, Hunter?" Sam whispered.
"We are at the headquarters of Riverside gang, Samantha." I replied in a menacing voice. "I hope you're prepared, because you're going to meet everyone in this gang. Since I brought you here, you're now going to become a member. So, congratulations Sam. Now you can call me names and antagonize me, because at least this time, these names will be true."
I turned to look at her, and she was clearly in shock. She was speechless. No words could escape her mouth. "Here, you go by S. I hope you're ready."
She continued not to say anything, but she did grab her stomach in a protective instinct. My eyes softened as I watched it. But I quickly brushed it away and continued. I placed my hand on her back and directed her to the common room.
In the common room, there stood Xav, N, and B. The three people I wanted her to meet. I leaned down to whisper in her ear. "Don't act like you know Xav. He goes by X here. Do not give anything away." I snarled.
She said nothing but continued to observe. The three guys were standing around a table, clearly planning something huge. I guess Xav covered for me, because they never called me to get me at this meeting. I cleared my throat to let everyone know I was here. Xav looked over at me and then his eyes settled on Sam. I could see the surprise on his face, but as soon as it was there, it was gone. His gaze changed to something unrecognizable as he looked at us. N and B looked at us, clearly surprised I brought someone along, more specifically a female. Until finally, B smirked hugely. I bet he thought this would get me in trouble. Wait until the fucking idiot finds out everything.
"H, who might this be?" N asked, keeping his eyes on Sam.
"This is, S." I replied, gesturing to her.
"Why'd you bring her here?" B asked.
"To teach her a lesson," I replied.
"And what lesson might that be?" N asked me, clearly surprised.
I thought about the perfect ways to put it into words. "Not to assume you know everything, when clearly you know nothing." I replied, turning to look at Sam as she stood there in silence.
"Well, have you banged her yet?" B asked, taunting me.
I smirked at him. "I have," I replied.
Xav looked at me with sympathy in his eyes, because he knew. He also knew everyone was going to find out in a couple seconds too.
"Are you dating her?" N asked me.
"No," I replied. "She hasn't stopped harassing me since I knocked her up."
The whole room instantly silenced. Sam chose at that moment to look up at me in shock. I just kept staring at the guys to see what their reaction would be and who would break the silence first.
Xav chose at that moment then to walk over to me. He nodded his head to step a few feet away from Sam, so he could talk to me. I walked over to where he was and kept Sam in my line of vision. "What are you doing?" He hissed at me.
"What does it look like? You should be hearing the things she is saying to me. I had to get her to shut up and fuck off because she's killing me. She won't stop hurting me."
"Do you know what you've done? Do you know what you've got her involved in?"
"Yes, I'm aware of all this. She did it to herself."
"Dude, you just signed her up for a gang she knew nothing about. How do you think she's going to feel about you now? Does she even know about what you did?"
