"WHOO!"

Cade and Raquel looked outside the window of Optimus' vehicle mode and laughed as they watched Lordes soaring around with Strafe in his real form. The Dinobots, all in their real forms, were chasing after them.

As much as Lordes missed her parents and the birthday parties they threw, this was the one of the best birthdays she will ever have again. She was with her new family, she wasn't afraid anymore of people catching them, and she had people that accepts her.

We should race to that building ahead.

Lordes heard Strafe say as she smirked and looked ahead. The smirk slowly turned into a relieved grin before she screamed in excitement.

"Guys! We're here! We're in Chicago!" She exclaimed when she came face to face with Cade and Raquel.

"Are you sure?"

"1000 percent! That's Chicago!" The three grinned with Glee before Cade contacted the others to let them know the good news.

"Strafe, Grimlock, Slug, Scorn, prepare to go back into your other form. We can't have the humans find out about you." Lordes said to the Dinobots before they roared in acknowledgement.

'This is it. We'll finally be able to take out Cemetery Wind and this KSI for good.' Lordes thought with a smile. She knew her parents would be proud of her for doing this, but she also knew they would be a little scared about it.

All that matter to Lordes was stopping the government from killing more Autobots, and people.

"This is KSI headquarters. It's located in the middle the city. No way we're going to go there unnoticed." Crosshairs said as Lordes rolled her eyes.

"Um..hello?! Isn't that what you're vehicle modes are for? 'Robots in disguise'!" Lordes said in a 'duh' tone before Cade came forward with a map.

"Found this back there. Whoever was here probably had worked there or had the same idea as us." Cade said as he unrolled it.

"Okay, so this is the main entrance.." Lordes began before pointing to a small drawn door. "That door is guarded by a lot of security, which means we can't sneak in like that. And this is where one of the Autobots come in. They do vehicle deliveries every two hours, so Cade and Shane could go in with one of you."

"Woah, why do I have to go with the old man?!" Shane complained as Lordes rolled her eyes. "Well, I can't do it and Tessa can't either, we look and ARE too young. Whereas, you two, you look old enough to work there. And plus, I said so. And if you don't like it.." Lordes raised her arm and blasted an energy blast at him. Shane screamed when it went his way and immediately screamed okay to her.

Lordes smirked before she looked at everyone.

"This is it, guys. This is the endgame. We do this right, we can go home free. We can stop this cruel act today. We got this. I believe it."

"As do I. We need to stop them, whatever it takes." Optimus assured as everyone nodded.

"Optimus?" Lordes called out when she approached Optimus' alt mode.

"Yes, Lordes?"

"Do you have a minute?" Optimus didn't respond, he only opened the passenger door and Lordes climbed in.

"So..is everything okay?"

"No. Everything isn't okay. My birthday's today, I don't have my parents.." Lordes began as she began to tear up. "I-I get this new power and I completely ignore you and..I just feel so guilty about it. And I just.."

Lordes slowly began to break down into quiet sobs as she explained herself. She slipped her hands to her eyes and cried. There was slience for a minute before arms wrapped around her. She looked up and saw Optimus, in his holoform, staring back at her.

"I'm.. I'm sorry, Optimus. I..I just realized now how much I was hurting you. It's just..I haven't had real friends for a long time and just meeting everyone, you guys accept me for who I am. But then I shut you out, my best friend, my guardian.." She began as she raised a hand to his shoulder. "And a..a father-figure."

Optimus' eyes went wide slightly when she said that but quickly changed it to a bright smile before he hugged her tightly. Lordes was always told that the Transformers were terrifying machines that kill humans. But does this classify as 'terrifying machines that kill humans'?
