"So, Lordes, do you have a family?" Izabella asked me as I looked down at her.
"Yeah. My Dad's in space and I'm babysitting a bunch of Autobots with two grown ups and two teenagers." I said with a sarcastic smile as Izabella laughed.
"That bad? Huh?" Izabella asked as I shook my head. "You have no idea."
"Cool. So you said your Dad's in space, NASA?"
"No. Not exactly." I said as Izabella's eyes beamed. "Autobot?"
"Yep. Not to much the leader." Izabella's eyes widened with shock and Glee before she smiled brightly. "Your Dad is Optimus Prime?!"
"Yep. But he's in trouble right now. That's why I'm back on Earth. I needed the Autobots' help."
"With what exactly?" Before I could respond, I heard something. Something like a whooshing sound. I looked back at Raven, who was behind me talking to Sanchez and Dre.
She must have heard it too, because she looked at me with the same confusion as mine. I looked around for the sound and just behind a building, a missile was headed straight towards Canopy.
"Get down!" I shouted as I flew up in front of the missile and stopped it from hitting Canopy. But right when I touched it, it exploded, causing me to crash hard into a concrete wall.
"That bastard!" I shouted before I pushed myself out of the wall. Before I could check to make sure everyone was okay, another missile came, this time I couldn't reach it and it hit Canopy through the spark.
"NO!!"
"CANOPY!!" Izabella cried out as she jumped up from the ground and ran towards Canopy, who was coughing up green energon.
"Nonono, look at me! Wake up, Canopy! You're gonna be okay!" Izabella choked out as I landed next to her, my eyes widened with pure shock and anger as I stated at his suffering form.
"I'm-I'm sorry, Izabella. I was right there. I could've.." I began choking out as I Iet tears stream down my face. "No! He's not gone! I can fix him! Please, please! Just help me get him up! I'm not leaving him! He's all I got left!"
"I'm sorry, Izabella. But we have to go." I said softly as Izabella looked at me with teary eyes before looking back at Canopy. I placed a hand on her shoulder, grasping it gently before she slowly began to get up.
"Lordes!" I heard as I turned around and saw Cade approach with his vehicle. "Get these kids out of here! I'll handle them!"
I turned back around and saw more TRF bots approaching. I grabbed Izabella's hand before we ran to the vehicle, Raven and the four boys following after us. I hopped in the driver seat and went to start the car but the keys weren't there.
"Goddammit, Cade! I can't drive a vehicle without the freaking keys!" I shouted to him as he shot the bots with his shotgun.
"I'm just gonna hotwire this bitch!" Sanchez said as I rolled my eyes and slightly moved him away from the wires. I went to hot wire the car until I saw Cade's little candy ass running back to the vehicle.
"What the hell, Cade!?" I shouted when he got to the door.
"Here! Come on, let's go!" Cade shouted before handed me the keys and hopped in the back. I took off before the bots could get to us. -
"Hey, you're that guy!"
"I'm not that guy." Cade mumbled as he lead the boys and Izabella to the fence. "You are. They said you helped the Autobots. I heard you're some kind of legend."
"Some legend. You were too late." Izabella muttered as I looked at her. "Hey, Izabella?"
Izabella looked back at me and I saw how red her eyes were and I felt horrible. I didn't mean for her to leave her family, I just didn't want her to get killed.
"I'm sorry about just now. I understand that that was your family. Trust me. I would have done the same thing if that was my dad. I wouldn't want to leave him either. But sometimes we all can't have what we want. But, if you need anyone to talk to, I'm here." I said with a smile. The corners of Izabella's mouth curled up slightly before she nodded.
"Thanks, Lordes."
"Here." I went into my pocket and pulled out a earpiece that was similar to the one I had on and handed it to her. "You can talk to me through there."
"I will."
"Okay, party's over. Time to go home." Cade said abruptly as he split between us. He was probably annoyed by all the questions and comments he was getting from the boys.
"Okay. Y'all get home safe. And don't tell anyone what you saw today. Get it between you four, okay? If you don't.." I blasted at the fence, which created a perfectly burnt circle, which scared the life out of the four boys. "Let's just say, you'll have a swollen, burning ass for the rest of your life."
The boys nodded before bailing out of there, not looking back.
"Thanks, Lordes. For everything." Izabella thanked before she called out someone called 'Sqweeks'. A blue not that could have transformed into a scooter came rolling in, I didn't even notice it was there until now and came rolling through the opening of the fence.
"Lordes, let's go. We got a couple hours until dusk. Let's move." Cade said as I nodded and I walked off with him, catching up with the crashed ship the boys and Izabella were near.
