Operation: Break In And Break Out Part 1

"So, let me get this straight.." Cade began once Alice, Shane, and the other Autobots met up again. "I walk away for 5 minutes at the mention of my daughter and you let a 9-year-old fly away to find the ship?! Not knowing what will be in stored for her?!"

"Cade, I get you care about her. Trust me, I do too and I just met her. But if she's willing to go find the big guy and Tessa, then that's what she'll do. Just as long as she doesn't get herself killed, which she won't. We'll make sure of it." Shane assured as Cade rolled his eyes. "I bet if you have powers like Lordes, you would do the same thing."

"Yeah, but I'm a 37 year old man, she's a 9 year old child!" Cade argued before Alice got in between.

"Hey! Arguing about this is not going to bring Optimus, Tessa, or Lordes back! Okay?!" Alice shouted to both of them as they glared at each other. "Now, if everyone is done going at each other's throats! We need to find Lockdown's ship and get Lordes, Tessa, and Optimus!"

"Okay, Alice.." Cade began as he took his attention to her. "What are you suggesting?"

"Lordes said she'll contact us when she finds the ship. As soon as she does, we'll meet up there and get onto his ship before he lifts off. I can help get in there." Alice said as Cade nodded.

"And when will that be?"

"Right about.." Alice checked her watch before a beep went off.

"Alice? You copy?"

"Now. I'm here, Lordes." She responded. "Did you find the ship?"

"I did. But it was more like, they found me." Alice furrowed her eyebrows. "They got me, Alice. You need to get with the Autobots right now."

"I'm here with them now." Alice said as Lordes muttered an 'okay'.

"Okay, here's what I need you guys to do.."

After I told Alice my plan, I sighed before I sat down on the cold metal floor. I looked up, seeing Optimus unconscious hanging upside down in the cell next to mine and my heart just broke.

'Why didn't I just listen to Optimus the first time? Why?' I cursed to myself as I hugged my knees to my chest.

"Optimus?" I called out softly. He moved a bit but he still didn't wake up. "Optimus!"

His optics slowly began to glow and he quickly looked over at me, a surprised and relieved look on his face as he did.

"Lordes? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, Optimus. It's you I'm worried about. You took quite a blow from Lockdown." I said with guilt as he grunted in agreement. "I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault, Lordes. None of this is."

"Yes, it is, Prime. I screwed up. I didn't listen to you when you told me to get Tessa out of there. I was stubborn and I was in the moment. None of this would happened if I had just listened." Optimus' bright blue eyes stared right into my soul and I could see the sadness in them.

"Lordes.."

"No, Optimus. Don't. This is on m-" A roar interrupted me and I jumped slightly at it. I looked outside the cell, which was a small opening and I saw a large figure in the cell across from me.

"Hello? Who's there?" I called out, there was a low growl and then something else..

Lordes?

"G-Grimlock? Is that you?" I asked as the figure came close to it's cage door.

Yes, it is. Are you okay?

I nodded with a small smile before looking at the other cages and saw that there were three more like him.

The other Dinobots.

"How did you get here?" I asked as the green optics that we're laid on me looked away.

Lockdown captured us right after you were blasted. We thought we had lost you. But Lockdown said you were fine. I didn't take much word for it. When we came to, Lockdown was experimenting on us, making us into this..form.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing! This asshole, Lockdown, freaking hurt my babies and not only that, converted them into some freaking counterpart that they've never had before! Oh, wait till I get my hands on that Jack off!

"Is it permanent?" I asked as Slug shook his head.

No, it's not. But we've never had this form before and Lockdown had expect us to understand. Which was why we're locked in these cages and treated like the animals we are.

"You are not animals. In context speaking, you aren't! This bot had messed with your heads thinking you're something that you aren't. You are my best friends, you are my home, but most importantly, you're family."

What is a 'family'? Strafe asked as I shook my head with a smile on my face.

"You guys have a lot to learn about Earthly customs. We're going to get you guys out of here. Okay?" I assured as Grimlock nodded as did the others. I sighed before I turned to sit down.

"Now, to figure out how I'm going to get out of here."
