"Come on, Lordes! You've been in there for almost 20 minutes!" Shane shouted from outside the restroom door. Cade quietly chuckled before going back to the book he found on the train they broke into.
Shane banged on the door once more before he swung open.
"Calm down, you big baby. I was just cleaning up." Lordes said as she walked out of the restroom, Shane just staring as she walked pass.
"How do I look?"
Cade looked up from his book, Raquel looking up from her magazine, both gasping as they saw what she did to her hair.

"Lordes! Wow! Your hair is gorgeous!" Raquel said as she stood up from her spot in the chair and approached her, touching the tips of her hair.
"It feels so soft." She said in awe as Lordes giggled. "Why did you cut it?"
"Well, my mom had always had short hair. It was always in a pixie cut, so when I was looking in the mirror, I just..went for it and cut it." Lordes said as Raquel nodded.
"Well you look like a total badass!" Cade said as he approached the two females.
"Thanks, Cade. Wait, where's Tessa?" She asked, looking for the blonde.
"She's outside with Optimus. His radio started acting up and she went to fix it." Lordes' smile dropped slowly when she heard Optimus' name and looked to the ground.
"I need to go out there. I need to apologise. I need to make it right." She said as she looked at the others. They nodded and Lordes walked out of the train car.
"She's doing the right thing, you know?" Raquel asked Cade as he sighed and sat back down in his spot.
"I know. Lordes needs to understand that life is based on tough decisions. One day she'll have to make them. But for right now, she's still a child."

"Tessa?" Lordes called as she approached Optimus' truck. Tessa looked towards Lordes and smiled before she sat the exterior radio on the seat.
"Hey! I like the hair!" Tessa complimented as Lordes smiled. "Thanks, Tess."
"No problem. Why did you do it?"
"My mom would have wanted me to." Lordes said with a sad smile as she ran a hand through her fresh cut.
"Well, I like it."
"Thank you. Hey, um, mind if I talk to the big guy for a second?" Lordes whispered as Tessa looked at Optimus.
"Sure. I'll be back." Tessa said while patting my shoulder. "Prime! I'll be right back!"
"I will be here, Tessa." Optimus said as Tessa nodded and walked off towards the train car. Lordes sighed before she hopped into Optimus' cab. She closed the door and sat in slience for a moment.
Optimus' holoform fizzed next to her and she couldn't dare meet his eyes. She let tears run down her face as she felt the guilt and pain she's caused for Optimus.
"Optimus..I..I.."
"Lordes, I..forgive you." Lordes looked at Optimus with wide eyes.
"W-What?"
"I forgive you. I know you didn't mean it intentionally. Most of what you said..was true. I did promise you I would be there. I did promise you that I would never leave your side, I chose to keep that promise. That's when I realized that I am breaking that promise by leaving you." Optimus began as he placed his arm around her shoulders and pulled her close.
"Elita."
Optimus' eyes went wide before he stuttered out, "What?"
"I've seen her. Elita. She came to me in a vision, I saw her ghost while I was in my cell. You were unconscious when she showed up. She said that you personally assigned her to protect me. Her and Bumblebee. She also said that I..I'm your... I'm your..."
Optimus' eyebrows furrowed, trying to understand where she was trying to get at.
"Lordes, I am not understand-"
"Oh, for God's sake, Prime! I'M YOUR DAUGHTER! ZARA!"
