We Are Family!

Grimlock advanced towards me, I held my ground for the moment as he did. I looked around quickly at my surroundings. Optimus had backed away so far, he was literally a dozen yards away from me. I also saw that there weren't others around to get hurt. Good.

"Don't make me do this, Grim!" I shouted up to him as he got close in range. I sighed before I looked at my fists. I felt that surge again. That surge from the explosion in my vision or dream, the surge I felt when I took down that Cemetery Wind group, the surge I felt when I got myself out of the cell.

I felt it.

As soon as he was right over top of me, I brought my fist up and it connected with his bottom jaw, causing his head to jerk back and I immediately went above his head and slammed it into the ground.

As I did, a shock wave swept through the mountains, trees began to sway heavily and the Earth shook under our feet.

"Grim, I'm giving you a choice, stop this now or you won't have another choice." I threatened as I held my fist towards him. I prayed that he would just listen to me, but he was stubborn when he was a baby Dinobot, so I don't even know why it would be easier as an enormous Dinobot.

I..do not wish to yield.

"Grimlock, please..I don't want to do this. You are my family as well as my best friend. All of you are." I began as I looked at all the Dinobots behind him, who were all watching in disbelief. "I know you don't understand what family means. Family means that you worry about the people you care about. Family means showing love and concern for the ones that need it most. You guys are my family. And I'm your family. And you also have to respect the fact that Optimus Prime is MY family, too." I said as I pointed to Optimus who started to slowly approach.

"I get Lockdown forced you into something you didn't want to do. I get he controlled you. I will personally kick his ass if it will make you guys feel a hell of a lot better. But don't take it out on Optimus. He's not the one who controlled you, he's the one who is willing to give you your freedom. Your life back." I finished as I looked at the Dinobots then back at Grimlock. His glare soon turned into saddened face and he rubbed his muzzle against me as if in an apologetic way.

"Grim, I will never be mad at you. But I will forgive you if you help me save the city and my other family that's in it. If we don't get down there quickly, Lockdown may kill them all and the man-made bot that calls himself Galvatron." I pleaded as Grimlock looked at me then at Optimus.

I will work with you both. Because you are my..family. And because I want my revenge against the one who took our freedom.

"What is he saying?" Optimus asked as I sighed in relief. "He said he'll help us."

"That is good. We must hurry. Lockdown will be coming back for me and the Seed any moment now." Optimus said as I nodded and I hopped onto Grimlock.

"Hop on." I said to Optimus as I gestured him to come on. Optimus, at first, was hesitant but soon got onto Grimlock's back. "It's okay, Prime."

"How do we get back to the city?" Optimus asked as I looked around. I flew up in the air and above the treeline, hoping to get a clear view of the city. And in broad daylight, I saw the city, but also a small explosion near the city. Must be Galvatron. I flew back down to Optimus and the others just as they were about to take off.

"It's just North of here, but I saw an explosion. I think Galvatron is trying to beat us to the seed." I assumed as Optimus nodded.

"Then we must act fast. Now."
