Operation: Break In And Break Out Part 2

||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

"Well, we're here." Alice announced as she looked at the dark and creepy ship. "Let's split up. Hound, Drift, and Crosshairs, you guys go and try to find something that drops the archers. Cade, Shane, Raquel, and I will go find Optimus, Tessa, and Lordes."

"Hey! Who put pipsqueak here in charge? Besides, what's in it for me?" Crosshairs was interrupted by a large group of alien guns that appeared out of nowhere in his face.

"What's in it for you is that I don't kill you. We're going to get everyone back. Now, you can either cower back or help me find your leader and my friend. As well as his daughter." I exclaimed as I pointed to Cade. I let the guns go off safety before Crosshairs threw his hands up.

"Fine, fine. Whatever! Well, if we want to find them soon, we're going to need to hurry."

"Agreed. They are preparing for interstellar launch. We got at least 10 minutes." Drift said as I nodded.

"Is that what that sound is?! You're saying this thing is going to be in space in 10 minutes?! 10 MINUTES!?!" Shane shouted as Drift shrugged.

"Maybe 9. Worse case 7."

"Well whatever time we have left. We have to find them and get off of here." I assured as we all agreed and we split off.

I slowly opened my eyes, my head pounding against my skull like a wild animal trying to break out of the cage. I held it while sitting, quickly trying to remember my surroundings. I was still in the cell next to Optimus and the Dinobots were still across from me.

I looked at Optimus and saw he was sleeping soundlessly. Shoot, I wish I had his sleep. I would have slept better 2 weeks ago.

"Zara.." I looked around, knowing I've heard that name before. I kept looking around, not seeing any signs of anything. Until..

"Zara." I looked at the wall behind me and saw a figure standing there. The same figure that looked like..

"Elita?"

"Yes, it's me. I knew you would remember. I can't maintain my presence for any longer but I need you to know that Optimus personally assigned me to the task of protecting you. Even during the 80s when Bumblebee and I were to seek refuge on this planet, I had to find you. When I saw you that day at the Naval Base, I knew it was you. You had so much of your father in you that I just knew it. But before I passed along to the Allspark, I was trying to tell you that you need to protect you father. He's the key to bring Cybertron back. If he were to meet his creators, then Primus help us all. We can't let her get to him."

"Who? Who are you talking about, Elita?" I asked as she looked away before looking back down at me.

"Her name is Quintessa. She's the Prime of Life. Or at least that's what she thinks. She has been the guardian of Cybertron since it fell and now she seeks to destroy Cybertron's oldest enemy, Unicron. Also known as your planet's core. If she were to destroy Uincron, your ways of life will be long gone. There will be nothing left. Like Earth never even existed. That is why I gave you my powers, Zara. I knew you could do it. I knew that you were born for this." Elita said as I smiled softly. I nodded to her before I sighed.

"But I don't even know if I can protect Optimus. Or my dad. I just...I don't know. I keep screwing things up. Doing this will just screw it up even more."

"Zara, we all make mistakes. That's just who we are. You can't blame yourself for every little mistake you make. That's what makes you you. Trust me, I've made plenty. But one mistake I didn't make was seeing the potential in you. That was never a mistake. And you know it. So, cheer yourself up.." She began as she threw me a cheeky grin. I threw one right back at her before we both giggled softly. "And just try to remember that I'll be watching over you. If you need me, I'll be here."

"Thanks, Elita."

"You're very welcome, Zara. Or should I say Lordes?" I smiled before she disappeared out of the metal wall and I was left alone again in the cell.

"I won't let you down, Elita. I promise." I whispered before I looked back at the cell door. I balled up my fists, my hands glowed brightly in fiery anger. I thought about everything.

My family.

Cade.

Tessa.

Elita.

The Dinobots.

Optimus.

Everything.

I thought about what would happen if something goes wrong in my presence. I hated it. I was angry. Very angry.

I didn't even realize I was out of the cell until I heard a smash and opened my eyes. I looked behind me to see a large hole in the door of the cell.

I chuckled wholeheartedly before I looked at my hands. They glowed ever so brightly and I silently thanked God I had them.

I looked at Optimus, who finally woke up and was staring in shock at the fact I was loose.

"How..?"

"I'll explain later. I gotta get you out of here." I assured as I blasted at the door. Within a second, the door had burst open a hole and I jumped in, looking up at the restraints.

"If you feel a warm feeling on your feet, that's me blasting the restraints off." I said as he nodded and I blasted that the restraints.

Once one restraint was off, he grabbed at the other one. I watched, waiting in case he fell, which he did.

As soon as the other one was off, he went falling to the ground. But before I could catch him, he was hovering above me. I raised an eyebrow, confused as to how the heck he was keeping himself hovered like that.

"Lordes, are you doing this?"

"No. That's not me."

"It's me." We both turned our heads and saw..
