You were waiting for Ratchet to get back from helping Bumblebee's team so that you could finally find out the gender of your baby. Normally you were pretty good at waiting but at the moment you were impatient. You decided to go get something to eat while you were waiting. A few minutes later you heard him transform so you finished your food and went outside.
"Hey Ratchet, how did it go?" You asked Ratchet.
"It was going well, until Sideswipe almost pulled a prank." He huffed.
"Can we find out the gender of our baby now?" You asked him curiously.
"Yes, now just stand perfectly still." Ratchet told you.
You stood perfectly still as he turned his scanner on and scanned you.
"Hmm." Ratchet said as he looked at the picture.
"What?" You asked him nervously.
"Well Y/n, it looks like we're having a mechling. I mean a boy." Ratchet said happily.
"Is he healthy?" You asked him.
"Yes, he is." Ratchet said as he activated his holoform.
"I can't wait till he's born." You said as you hugged Ratchet.
"Neither can I." Ratchet said as he rested one of his hands on your baby bump.
