[4. Scars]

Nova's POV

I got annoyed with Todoroki's comment and snapped at him which made him shocked

"I don't think Todoroki likes you" Uraraka said and everyone was changing into their pe uniforms while I was standing there having a gay panic and being scared of my scars showing "Y-Yeah! I snapped at him" I said and the girls looked confused besides Aimi "Hey, can you guys face away from Nova while she changes her clothes too?" Aimi asked and they nodded without asking questions but confused and I sighed, relieved that she noticed "Go ahead" Aimi said and I nodded while taking my uniform off but I heard a gasp "What happened to your back?! And arms?!" Toru said and I sulked down "It's nothing! Just a clumsy kid!" I yelled and Aimi frowned "Aoki-chan..." Uraraka said "Really! I was just a very clumsy and stupid kid!" I said and Uraraka and Tsu looked at each other "Don't worry, I'm fine" I said and they sighed while finishing changing and I felt stares on me since I had more scars on my legs "You'll be okay" I turned to look at Aimi and I frowned "I have you by my side, so of course I will be" I said and she smiled "I think Kirishima has a little crush on the hotheaded boy" She said and I started snickering "KiriBaku" I said and she chuckled. Aimi always had a way of making me feel better about my scars or whenever I was upset or scared, she's like a sister I never had and a best friend I didn't know I needed "You and Jirou seemed to hit it off" I teased and she blushed "Oh shut up" She laughed

{11 years ago}

I walked out of my teachers classroom since it was the end of the day and my mom was late to pick me up so I just decided to sit outside of my classroom but I was taken aback when I heard a scream and I turned around to where it wasn't coming from and dropped my backpack and started running without even thinking about what it could be, turning the corner I saw the school's main bullies that picked on anyone they could get their fingers on since no one really had gotten their quirks yet unless you were older, late or quirkless. I was a late bloomer and that pissed my mom off because the doctors said I have a chance of getting one or not getting one.

I ran at the older kid that just kicked the victim and punched him but a sonic boom that threw him out of the school's front door and I glared at the two others since bullies seem to run in packs of three or four "Are you okay?" I asked and put my hand out for the girl and she had pink hair that was in pigtails and black eyes but also multiple colors inside, she's in the class next to me "Thank you, for helping"

She said and rubbed her eyes which had tears in them and I sat on my knees and used my jacket to wipe her tears "You're safe from those bullies now!" I said in a cheerful voice and she smiled "I'm Nova Aoki, call me Nova" I said "Aimi Rekio, call me Aimi" She said and I smiled again "Alright! I'll see you tomorrow then!" I said when I saw my mom walking over.

{4 years later}

Aimi's POV

"She's awake but please be careful and don't hug her too hard, or just refrain from touching her at all. She's in deep shock" I walked in with Nasi and Lisa but I stayed by the door when I saw my best friend in millions of bandages and white roots in her hair "Nova!" "Oh I'm so happy you're okay, you really scared us" Lisa said as she hugged Nova, who looked so pained and her eyes were so.... lost and dark that you couldn't even see the purple "I'll be back" I said and ran to the bathroom to throw up because it made my stomach turn just thinking about what she had to go through "Aimi?" I looked up at the door and started crying "She doesn't deserve this!" I said and Nasi hugged me "She'll be okay... She'll be okay" Nasi said and I just cried.

A few days later I wasn't allowed into the room when I heard Nova yelling about something and then I looked through the window and Lisa was stone 'What the hell?' I thought but then Nasi ripped me away from the window and i was confused on what was happening "What happened?" I asked "Nova.. she turned my sister into stone.." Nasi said and my eyes widened.

After the doctors examined Nova, they found out a quirk had been forced onto her during being tortured and it was that if she looked someone in the eyes without tinted glasses or goggles, they'd turn to stone and die instantly after.

That quirk would be called Medusa after that.

Nova's POV

I'm really glad that my pe uniform was long sleeved since I didn't want to get questioned by everyone, but that's gonna happen anyway from the girls.

"Expelled?!!??!" Everyone besides me and Aimi yelled "You heard me, now, Bakugou, how far could you throw a baseball during junior high?" Aizawa asked "72 meters" Bakugou said and Aizawa threw the ball at Bakugou who caught it "Throw it with your quirk now" Bakugou got ready to throw the ball and as soon as he let go of it he used his quirk and yelled "DIE!!" "702.2 meters. Theses 8 test will choose weather or not you'll stay in UA" Aizawa said and we all nodded "Let's get this over with then" Aizawa added and it seemed like no one else here knew who he was by the looks on everyones face when they first met him besides me. I mean it's pretty obvious he's the hero Eraserhead "I met All Might earlier" I mumbled "Really?" Aimi asked and I nodded "Taller in person" I said and got on my tip toes with my arms up "Haha, I guess I'll see for myself" Aimi laughed "Miss Aoki, you seem like you want to be in the first round" Aizawa said and I blushed when I realized everyone saw what i did "Yes sir, and sorry" I bowed and he shook his head 'I'm such an idiot!' I stood back up and walked to the starting line beside Jirou and I felt a cold stare so I turned my head back to the group and was met in Todoroki's cold glare, waving he looked away from me in an instant and I focused again.

I might eventually draw some of Nova and Todoroki scenes but I'm not that good yet
