Todoroki's POV

"No, it's too dangerous. It would be a suicide mission to go by yourself"

"Exactly"

I sighed as I sat down at my desk and started to worry again.

What did she mean by that? I mean it's pretty obvious but, why? I asked myself theses questions and didn't notice the person saying my name till they touched my shoulder

"Todoroki!" I looked up "Rekio" I replied and she smiled "Nova said that she'd really want to see you. She wants to explain everything even though you know what Aizawa told us" "I'll think about it..." Rekio frowned and put down a piece of paper which made me look up at her, confused.

"Nova's room number, since they changed it two days ago" Rekio said and then walked to her desk. Ever since I last saw Nova get put in that ambulance, I haven't been able to sleep much. I see her weak body on the ground, bleeding out and extremely pale, breathing slowly but somehow managed to not sound that pained and talk. Her eyes were glossy when i made eye contact with her and I didn't expect her eyes to be so... beautiful.

The entire school found out about Nova since people kept asking and asking till someone broke it to everyone, then some students were mad that they let her come to this school even though it wasn't her fault that her mother is a villain. I punched a kid after he started talking smack and which lead to Midoryia and Iida holding me back while I yelled at the kid.

"Aoki is dangerous! I can't believe they'd let villain like her in!" I froze when I heard the kid and he continued to say that she's a monster and hopefully will get kicked out which made me stand up out of my chair and grab the kid by the collar "You! Do not have the right to talk such nonsense!!" I yelled and felt everyone's eyes on me "Aoki can't help who she's related to! And she sure as hell isn't a monster!" I screamed and punched the kid then felt two people pulling me away from him "Calm down Todoroki!" Midoryia said

The door opened and I looked up "Morning" Aizawa said and I frowned "Does anyone have an update on Aoki?" He asked and he seemed upset just by mentioning it "She's doing better but... they couldn't find a way to fix her arm and... and they couldn't leave it on either" Rekio said and we all went quiet.

"Let's just hope she's okay in the end"

"Hey, Todoroki" Rekio said as I put my bag over my shoulder "Hmm?"

"Are you ever going to go visit Nova?" She asked "I might but I haven't decided..." I said "I think you should, it would make her really happy" Rekio said and left

I walked out of UA and started to think if I should or not. The hospital wasn't far from the school and not far from the train station either so I could get home after. It was already sunset and visiting hours were already over with.

'I'll go tomorrow'

As I passed by stores I saw something that caught my eye and remembered the Marvel pins on Aoki's backpack. She loved Iron Man and I saw a Iron Man blanket and walked inside of the store.

I grabbed the blanket that was unbelievably soft and took it to the cashier.

{next day}

I walked up to the hospital entrance with a gift bag in hand and trying to build up the confidence to walk in but I was scared to see Aoki. I stood there for a few minutes till I decided that I'd be fine unless she was angry at me for listening to her.

"She's in room 405" the nurse said and I nodded and walked inside of the elevator and clicked floor 4.

My phone started ringing and I looked to see who it was and it was my sister "Hello?" "Shoto, where are you? I went to go look for you and you just like disappeared?" "I'm visiting someone from my class that's in the hospital" "Aoki?" "Yeah, her friend told me that she really wanted to see me so here I am" "Well tell me how she's doing when you get back home. That poor girl"

I hung up when I got to the fourth floor and went to Aoki's and knocked. I heard a faint 'come in' and I opened the door but I didn't expect a bandage covered Aoki. Her neck was covered in bandages and so was her left arm and she probably had them on her stomach too but I couldn't see it since she was wearing a shirt "Hey" She said and I frowned "Hey" I replied and sat in the chair beside her bed, which she was sitting up in. She paused the tv and I noticed she was watching the first Iron Man movie and picked up my gift for her "I got you a gift since everyone else did" I said and handed it to her and she had a surprised expression but started opening her gift and smiled when she saw the blanket "Thank you, it's amazing" She said but it wasn't cheerful or happy at all, just flat and cold.

It was awkward and I didn't know what to say at all, till she cleared her throat "So, I'm guessing Aimi made you come here?" She asked "She didn't make me, just pushed it" I said and Aoki chuckled "That's Aimi for you... I guess you're also here for an explanation" She said and looked at me "Yeah.. I guess so" She looked so beautiful even with dark bags under her eyes and extremely pale skin. I guess I never noticed her freckles either.

She explained everything that happened to her and why she panicked during the attack at first and apologized for being so rude and cold to me during all of it but I told her she was just angry about her mother showing up.

After awhile I just sat in the chair and watched Iron Man with her as she slowly fell asleep with the blanket over her that I got and I smiled at how peaceful she looked.

"Goodnight Aoki" I moved a piece of hair out of her face and smiled again.

Was this good? I don't know but I think it's kinda cute
