[15. Sports Festival]

Shoto's POV festival

"Where were you?" I looked up, a very angry Endeavor was standing there "Why is that any of your business?" I asked and took my shoes off "Because you missed training. It better not have been because of that stupid girl." I turned to look at him

"She isn't stupid!! She's far from it!" I yelled

Nova's POV

I was in the girls dressing room, talking to all of the girls before the Sports Festival starts, I couldn't be apart of it sadly, Nezu still thinks I need to rest after losing my arm.

"You're glowing!" Uraraka said and I blushed "W-What?!" "It's definitely about Todoroki-kun." Momo said

She was right but was I going to give everyone that information? Nope.

I hugged everyone and wished them luck before I walked out of the door.

I walked past a hallway and someone grabbed my hand, activating my shield I almost hit Shoto in the face. "Damnit Shoto!! Don't scare me!"

He seemed upset so I stopped talking, "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked and cupped his cheek with my hand "Nothing." He said "I know you're lying, don't lie." He put his arms around me and put his head in the crook of my neck, I put my arms around him and rubbed his back.

"Sho? What's wrong?" I asked "Can we speak somewhere more private?" I nodded and we walked into a empty waiting room.

"Come here." He sat beside me, he had a mix of emotions on his face, fear, anger, he looked like he wanted to kill someone. "What's going on?" I asked again, "My father, he's constantly on me about not using his quirk and I'm sick of it." "Sho... look at me." He looked in my eyes, I smiled "It's your quirk, not his. I will tell you as many times as you need." His expression softened, he leaned in, cupping my cheeks and kissed me.

"You don't need to worry about your dad today. It's the Sports Festival, have fun but believe in yourself that you can win." He nodded, I ran my thumb over his scar.

"Did I ask you to be my girlfriend yet?" He asked "No but the answer is a yes if you're asking now." He smiled "Yeah, I'm asking." I nodded and kissed him "You win this icyhot." I heard Mic on the..... mic before I said that "I'll try my best."

"That's all you need to do, your best."

He left and I sat there, I was definitely upset that I couldn't be in the sports festival but I understand why I can't.

I walked out to the student chairs and watched the screen as Shoto froze the robots, he looked calm, but overall, happy.

"GO SHOTO TODOROKI!!" I used Mic's quirk, the camera went to me, "Seems a student of Aizawa's just used my quirk to wish her friend luck."

I had already told everyone else to do good and I knew that they didn't need to hear it twice but, Shoto needed it more than once.

I watched as everyone got through the first round and I'm very glad everyone got over, with Kashi in Third place and Bakugou screaming at them.

Shoto looked up at me, he was most definitely out of breath but forced a smile and I waved at him "You're doing great Sho." I saw Aimi go up to him and tackle him with a hug and she then also high fived him.

The next round was stressful to watch but this time everyone was after Izuku and Bakugou had actual steam coming out of his ears.

I cheered on my class and friends, they all seemed to get hyped up when I cheered for them, Mic was a bit annoyed with me using his quirk.

I watched Shoto closely as him and Izuku went at it, I then caught the small flame from Shoto's left side but it disappeared quite fast. My eyes widened as I looked across to find Endeavor, smiling.

The round finished and everyone was excused to go get something to eat or use the bathroom but I was focused on one thing. Endeavor and his son.

I passed by my friends and told them they did amazing but I had to go.

I found the hallway that Shoto was coming down, I ran to hug him and he put his arms around my waist "You were amazing!! You were the best one out there." He put his head in the crook of my neck and I felt something was wrong once again "Hon?" He just hugged me closer to him, I didn't say anything, I just knew.

"Sho?" I asked, he hummed in a response "You're amazing." He lifted his head up "You're better than I'll ever be." He said, he smiled but I shook my head "You're strong, stronger than anyone I know, even me." I put my hand on his chest, where his heart is.

I heard loud foot steps coming our way, we both looked down the hall to see a fiery pro hero.

"I see you finally ditched your rebellious choices Shoto!" Endeavor said and Shoto gripped my hand, Endeavor finally noticed me and glared at me, "What are you doing here?" He asked "Supporting my bo- my friend the right way, unlike someone here." He started to walk up to me but Shoto stood in front of me "I won't let you get near her, ever." Shoto said, Endeavor grew more angry "I won't hesitate to hurt you." He said to me "You could try, but you'll lose."

"Just because, my mother is a villain, I lost my arm in an easy fight, I could've died but I could kick your ass just as easily as I did that villain you could take care of. You're looking at the next number one." He was definitely taken aback and walked away.

I turned to Shoto "I'm starving." He smiled "When aren't you hungry?" "Hm.. Never."

Me and Shoto sat outside and ate soba while he told me more about his childhood, obviously scared it would change our relationship. But it wouldn't, nothing could change it.

I mean, I kinda missed writing this character. This chapter was kinda bad but I wanted to post on my friends birthday since she really likes this character.

And we're back in business baby.
