[21. I Love You]

Nova's POV

"I love you, Nova."

My eyes widened with surprise and a flash came from across the room "I'll leave now. Bye!" My dad left the apartment and I looked back up at Shoto "W-What did you say?" I asked but I knew, I just wanted to make sure I heard him right.

"I said 'I love you, Nova.'. Did you not hear me?" He asked and I shook my head rapidly "No no, I heard you. I just didn't know if it was what I thought you said."

My face had to have been 100 different colors of red, I couldn't think straight. Like, at fucking all. "You're really red." He pointed out, I was about to say something smartassy but I didn't think it was the time.

"Shoto," I closed the picture book in front of me and then I turned myself to him "I-I...." I couldn't get it out but I knew it's how I felt "If you're not ready to say i-"

I pulled him into a kiss which was gentle at first but got more passionate "Put me on the counter." I whispered into the kiss and he did exactly that, with him in between my legs and his hands on my thighs, I put my arms around his neck at pulled him deeper into the kiss.

After about five minutes of just making out, we stopped and his hair was wacky and I bet mine was too "Okay... that was." He breathed in a bunch of air "Amazing." I gasped and put my head against his chest.

"I love you too, Shoto." I said and he hugged me "Oh I got scared for a few minutes." I chuckled "Don't be scared."

"Movie?" He asked and I nodded "What movie though?" I asked "I've never seen Iron Man before." I gasped and jumped off the counter, I went looking for the dvd and found it on top of the coffee table.

Nasi's POV

I walked inside of the apartment and heard the tv on, playing what sounded like Iron Man. I walked into the living room and looked at the couch, Nova was laying on top of Shoto asleep while he was awake, watching the movie. "Hey." I said quietly "It's 1am, your old man might get mad if you're not home." Shoto looked down at Nova "I know it's weird of me to ask but, can I stay with her tonight?" I smiled and nodded "You can stay over here anytime you'd like."

"Thank you Mr Aoki." "Call me Nasi, Shoto." He nodded and went back to watching the movie while he rubbed my daughters back.

I smiled at the two, she deserves this happiness, they both do.

Nova's POV

I opened my eyes slowly and I heard a heart beat, I looked up at who I was laying on and it was Shoto, who was passed out asleep and I was the end of the movie "Hey Shoto." He moved a bit, "Let's go to bed." I whispered and he looked at me, nodded "Okay."

1 week later

"Bye Dad." I hugged him "Please be very careful, don't get yourself hurt." He kissed my forehead and we let go from the hug "I'll try to but no promises." He chuckled "Do you have everything?" He asked "I'm pretty sure I do." "I love you hon." He hugged me tightly again "I love you too Dad."

I saw everyone waiting with Aizawa at the train station and I ran over to them "I'm here!" I said "The train is about to leave, but a quick mention."

"Do not start a fight with a villain unless your pro hero gives you the go, don't run off from them either. Be careful and smart." "Yes Sir." Everyone said and I stood beside Shoto "Hi." I said "Hey." He put his arm around me and kissed my head "You ready?" I nodded "I'm excited." He smiled "I'm nervous."

I got on the train with Shoto and we sat beside each other, "Do you have a new hero suit?" Shoto asked and I nodded and pulled out the drawing I did of it.

It was a skin tight dark purple suit with a golden belt and the ends of the short sleeves had golden on it too. It looked like Black Widows a bit but with short sleeves.

"O-Oh wow." Shoto blushed I looked up at him "You're kidding." He chuckled nervously "Nope." I smiled at him "Don't get a boner when you see me in it hon." He glared at me and sighed, I laughed.

"I'm glad you both made it here safe." Endeavor said "Let me show you to your room."

I followed behind the two in front of me but I felt eyes on me, I tugged my sleeve down over my prosthetic hand "Hey?" Shoto looked down at me, worried as we stopped at the door "I'm fine." He didn't look convinced "Here it is! Now, we start training tomorrow morning at 7:30, don't be late."

"We're across the street from the agency, so we don't have to worry about a train or anything." Shoto said and I placed my bags down on the ground "I think I'm going to unpack, we're gonna be here for two weeks and I don't really want to go through my suitcase the entire time." Shoto nodded and I opened the middle drawer of the dresser.

I looked down at my suitcase and saw a dress in there. What the hell? I don't remember- Dad.

"Something wrong?" Shoto asked from across the room and I held the dress up "Did your dad open your suitcase and put a dress in it or?" "He put a goddamn dress in my suitcase. Without me knowing." I looked down at it and noticed the sticky note 'I know you're gonna kill me and I know you hate dresses but I thought you'd like this one, if you and Shoto aren't to busy for a date.'

I smiled and folded it back up, putting it in the drawer.
