Nova's POV

"Hey, can you go get some other ingredients for dinner. I forgot some" Dad said and I got up from the couch and paused my show "Yeah, I need to stretch my legs anyway!" and grabbed the list he made me.

"Dad.... you forgot mostly everything..." I said and he scratched the back of his neck "Maybe.. Yeah I did" I shook my head and grabbed his credit card off the counter "You're hopeless" I said and he smiled as I walked out the door.

Me and my dad lived in a medium sized apartment that was in a very busy area so that meant really loud and people screaming at each other on the road, not to mention the 4 hours of sleep I get because of it and the constant nightmares I got from the number two villain but my dad didn't know about that since he'd start freaking out about it.

"Hey Luce" I said to my friend and she waved "Nasi forget stuff again?" She asked as I grabbed myself a candy bar "Yeah, but I don't mind coming here to get stuff" I said and walked to where the stuff I needed but one thing was on a higher shelf that I couldn't get and Luce wasn't at the counter so I just grabbed a stool to get it which I got without falling over myself for once
"Damn, why is this shit always out of date!" I said and just put it back
"I don't think they check" I turned my head and saw my classmate and friend from school "Hey Kiri" I said and he smiled "You gonna be at the entrance exam tomorrow?" He asked "Wait.. that's tomorrow?!" and he nodded which lead to me with a scream "I haven't trained in a week!" "You'll be fine! Besides, you're like the most powerful person I know!" "I'll see you tomorrow then" I said and smiled then walked to the cashier.

"You excited for UA?" Luce asked as she checked my stuff out "I hope I get in, I don't wanna disappoint my dad" "Listen, you're extremely powerful Nova. If they don't accept you into the school then, they're idiots"

"Dad!" I said as I walked in the door and took my shoes off "I got the drugs" I said jokingly and he looked in the bag "You lair!" He laughed "Thanks kiddo" and he ruffled my hair with a smile and I returned the smile "Anytime old man" "I'm only 36!" He said and I nodded "So, old!"

Our cat Makoto meowed and rubbed against my leg "Let's get back to our show Mako" I picked him up and sat back on the couch as I unpaused Supernatural (aka the best show I know of) "So when do you think Castiel and Dean are gonna fuck?" I asked my cat and he replied with a meow "They definitely already have" I said

My dad handed me my plate of food and sat beside me "They're definitely gonna do it this episode" Dad said "At least Magnus and Alec from Shadow Hunters have" I said "Also, the entrance exam is tomorrow" I said as the episode finished "You're gonna do amazing. Remember that you can use both of your quirks, just be careful" Dad said with another smile and I nodded "Thanks for being supportive" he nodded "Always will be no matter what, unless you're doing some illegal crap like murder" "I wouldn't kill unless it was self defense!" I said and gave my cat a piece of chicken "Eat this" but he wouldn't eat it.

"Aw shit!! I'm gonna be late!!" I yelled as I rushed to my dresser and grabbed a purple hoodie and leggings but grabbed another change of clothes for after and put that in a backpack then grabbed my phone rushing out of the apartment knowing my dad was most likely still asleep since it was the weekend.

I noticed that I have a text from my only friends I have which was Kirishima, Aimi, Riku and Luce saying that I better get my ass up.

"I am here!!" I yelled as I ran to the three "Who are you? All Might?!" Riku asked "You got here in two minutes, don't you live 8 miles away?" Aimi asked "That was really fast" Kirishima added "It's called, really good training for the past 9 years" as I tried catching my breath "Anyway. Where's Luce?" I asked "She said that she's getting in through recommendations but she'll be here later" Riku said "She just got the letter last night"

We walked into the writing exam and there was an announcement from Present Mic and I saw a green haired boy fanboying but I had met the blonde before and it's very...... overwhelming.

The first exam wasn't that bad, but i was mostly worried about the physical exam because that was the main one depending on if we got in or not "Hey guys!" We turned around and saw Luce "I came to tell you good luck! Also I need to tell Nova something" She said and pulled me away "I met two others that got in through recommendations and there's this guy that has two quirks!" She said and shook me "Oh god, Luce... I'm gonna throw up if you shake me anymore" I said and she stopped "Whoops, sorry. But isn't that amazing?!" She asked and I nodded "Yeah but why is that important? My second quirk was forced onto me" I said "Because he knows who you are. Remember that time you saved a group of kids and pro from that villain back in 7th grade?" She asked and I nodded "Yeah I got lectured by Mt. Lady for getting hurt and Endeavor was there, who was mad that I basically saved his ass" I said "That's Endeavor's son" She said and my eyes widened "Oh great! I'm gonna die!" I said sarcastically

"Physical exam will start in 5 minuets!" "Well, I need to go. Let's hope I won't get killed when we're leaving together" I said "Good luck and tell the others I said good luck too, again" Luce said and ran back inside

"Luce said good luck again" I said and the three nodded "I'm ready!!" Kirishima said "Let's do this gang!" Aimi said and me and Riku nodded

This chapter kinda sucks

Also there's gonna be a lot of tv show references
