[7. Everything's Fine]

Nova's POV

{Nightmare/Memory}

I opened my eyes to another memory from five years ago and it followed when everyone was terrified of me, my friends were but lied straight through their teeth "She's a monster y'know" I turned around and saw two teachers talking and I obviously could hear them "Poor kid, she killed her aunt" "What if she meant to? I mean, what if she really could become a villain?" "It's terrible, to have to go through that" I looked at my younger self who looked on the verge of tears from hearing it and I remember this did happen "I'm gonna go to the bathroom real quick" I said and saw myself run into the girls bathroom and turned my head back to my friends "I'm scared you guys, what if she hurts us?" Riku said and I flinched "Don't say that Riku! She didn't mean to do anything to her aunt but love her!" Aimi said and I frowned "If only you realized how much of a monster I really am" I said but of course they couldn't hear me and I walked through the bathroom door "It's funny, isn't it?" I turned around and my mother was watching my younger self cry in a toilet stall "You find this amusing and it's sickening" I spat "Be careful of who you say that to" She said and we were now standing in a battle field of stone statues "This is what you can do, yet you still think you can save everyone? Pitiful" Mom said "You're going to get someone hurt and much more after" "Can you leave me alone for once in my life?!" I yelled and looked straight at her "Can I not be called a monster for once in my miserable life!!!" I yelled louder and more angry and sad "Can you just fucking die already?!?!" I screamed at my mom and she smiled "Not happening"

"You're late" Aizawa said as soon as I walked into class "Says our teacher that is also late" I snapped back and everyone in the class looked at me, surprised by my terrible mood. I sat in my desk in front of Momo and laid my head down "Today we'll be choosing our class rep president and vice rep" Aizawa said "Wouldn't people just vote for themselves?" Kaminari asked "Yeah, it wouldn't be fair" Mina said and I lifted my head "Then don't be a high ego bastard" I said as I looked at a few of the guys in the class and even though you can barely see my eyes because of my glasses, they were terrified by my aura "Choose the people that would fit well, and if I find out anyone has voted for themselves then there will be consequences" I added and everyone nodded

Midoryia and Momo were class rep and I could tell how nervous Midoryia was "I think Iida would have fit better" Aimi said as we sat at our table with Riku and Luce "Probably" I said and the two twins looked exhausted "We're gonna die!" Riku said and Luce looked like she would pass out any minute "I'm so tired and I feel like my soul is draining from my body" She said and I chuckled "I get four hours of sleep everyday, and here you are complaining about only getting 6" I said and they looked at me "AlRiGhT mIsS mEAnY pAnTS" Riku said

An alarm started going off and everyone started running towards the cafeteria entrance "What's happening?" I asked a higher level student "Someone's broke into the school, it hasn't happened the three years I've been here" She said and ran with everyone else. I looked out of the window and it was just the press "Iida! It's just the press!" I yelled and he nodded and asked for Uraraka to make him float and he got to the exit sign "Everyone calm down! It's just the press! This is UA High, we shouldn't be acting like this!" Iida said

"Aoki-chan, will you ever tell us the truth about your scars?" Uraraka asked and i got annoyed since I've been getting asked this since school started "Not anytime soon" I said "It's not important" I put my trench coat on for the rest of my hero costume and then put my goggles on "I'll meet you guys outside" I said and left the changing room as soon as possible. As I walked through the hallway I saw the student I met yesterday during lunch "Kashi, was it?" I asked and they looked up from their book "Oh! I didn't expect to see you" They said and I nodded "I'm just walking outside to meet my class, we're going to some training thing" I said and Kashi kinda tensed up "Well, good luck" They said and waved me goodbye

"Welcome to the USJ!" Thirteen said and Uraraka started fangirling which was really cute. Thirteen explained what we were going to be doing today and talked about how some of our quirks could kill easily and we need to be careful about how we use it and learn how to completely understand it but as they were explaining I noticed a purple portal in the middle as people started walking out of it "Aizawa" I pointed down in the middle of the arena and then I heard Kirishima "Cool! Fake villains!" "Those aren't fake, they're real. Thirteen protect the students!" Aizawa said and I took a few steps forward as I saw a woman with long red hair and froze "Aoki?" Uraraka asked and my eyes widened in fear as I turned to my friends "I-It's h-her" I said and both Kirishima and Aimi froze too

"It's my mom"

That's rough buddy. Also I drew Nova and it'll be in the next chapter along with her hero costume
