You're Golden (Todoroki x OC)

[14. First Kiss]

Todoroki's POV

"Here we are!" Nova said and put her hands on her hips proudly "I was the fastest one here when I was younger" She said and looked up at me with a toothy smile and grabbed my hand.

We got our tickets which I payed for even though Nova protested that she'll pay for hers but I didn't let her.

"I'll get our skates" I said and she nodded "Get me a size five in woman's" Nova said and I nodded as she went to take her shoes off.

Nova's POV

"Here you are" I looked up and grabbed my skates as he sat beside me and started putting his on.

"It's easy, just balance yourself" I said and stood up and skated around but when he stood up, his legs started to wobble and he was flinging his arms around so I went to rescue him "Here" I held my hands out for him to hold and he took them "Balance yourself while I'm holding your hands" I said and he nodded as I skated backwards and he skated forward while looking at his feet "Look at me, not your feet" I said and he looked into my eyes and I blushed "You're getting the hang of it. See?" I said and he smiled as we stopped.

"Now let's go out there a skate" I pulled him along till we were in the skating part and I helped him step down "You can hold onto me still if needed" I said "I'm going to" He said and I smiled.

"Just follow my lead" I said and once we started skating he gripped my hands extremely hard and looked terrified "I told you you'd hate this" I laughed "No no, I like this but I'm scared I'm going to fall on my face" "You scared to get your pretty face messed up?" I joked and he glared at me "I'm not Bakugou" I snorted at his comment and he smiled.

"I'm gonna let go of you, okay?" I asked and he nodded as I let go he held is arms out and started to glide a bit "You have to move Todoroki" I said and he made little steps as I skated up beside him "How?" I skated in front of him as he watched my feet and nodded "Okay, I've got this..." he started to move but extremely slowly "You're doing great" and then he fell and I helped him up "You okay?" I asked "Yes" He started bursting out laughing and I smiled "So after we've had our fun here, where should we go after?" I asked "It's a surprise" He said and I nodded "Well.... I'll race ya" I started ahead of him and heard him yell "That's cheating! I can't even go that fast without falling!" "Well then fall! It's the part about learning!" I yelled back.

We sat down to take our skates off after we had a giggle fest of lightly pushing each other around and sighed.

"That was fun" I said and he nodded "I haven't felt this happy in a long time, or at all really" Todoroki said and smiled at me "I'm glad you've had fun, because the night isn't over just yet!" I said and looked over at the boba tea stand "How about some boba tea?" I asked and he nodded.

I got a text from someone.

Aimi:
How's your date? Better be good. And spicy. ;)

Nova:
Seriously Aimi? And it's going great.

I put my phone back in my pocket and gave mine and Todoroki's skates to the skate lady as Todoroki walked over with a Strawberry and a Pineapple boba tea "Pineapple" He handed me mine and I smiled "Thanks. And you seriously need to stop paying for my stuff" I said and he shook his head "Never"

"So where to next?" I asked "Since the end of the night is soon, I thought we could go to that small beach near the school?" Todoroki said "The sunsets there are beautiful" I said "That's why I thought we could end the night there before I take you home" He scratched the back of his neck and had a faint blush on his face "It sounds amazing" I smiled and he smiled too.

We walked down the street towards the beach and I had millions of thoughts of what I could say or do but I was to scared to but I can do one thing.

I grabbed his right hand and intertwined my fingers with his "I'm glad one of us finally did that" He said and I nodded "Yeah" my face was extremely red and I'm pretty sure he could tell.

We got to the beach and let go of each other's hand and sat down on a bench.

"Beautiful isn't it?" I asked and he looked at me but I didn't know he did "Yeah, very beautiful" I looked at him and he had the most softened look on his face and I smiled "Thank you. For asking me out of this date. I've had an amazing time" I said "I'm glad you just didn't turn me down" He said "How could I? You're absolutely amazing, who wouldn't want to go on a date with you?" I said "Hell, who wouldn't fall for you" I blushed while saying that and he also blushed and cupped my cheek with a hand.

"C-Can I kiss yo-you?" He asked and I nodded "You don't have to ask" I said and he kissed me which turned quite passionate for a few seconds till we let go for air.

We walked up to my apartment door and stood in front of it "I'll see you tomorrow at the Sports Festival" I said and he nodded, I kissed his cheek "Goodnight Tod-" "Shoto. You can call me Shoto" He said and I snorted "You stole my line" I said "Goodnight Nova" He smiled and I nodded "Goodnight Shoto"

I closed the door and took my shoes of then walked into the living room "How was it?" Dad asked "I just had my first kiss, went on a date with the guy I like a lot and we watched the sunset together so, extremely happy" I said

This is a bit shorter than the other chapters but I hope you enjoyed it
