Shoto's POV

"Guys, I can't hold him for long!" I yelled, Midoryia and Iida were both paralyzed from Stains quirk "We can't move!" Midoryia said and I jumped back from Stains katana almost taking my head.

Stain was about to get me from a blind spot and someone appeared in front of me "Get back!" Nova protected me from getting my head taken off "Shoto, please get back." A purple fire engulfed around her arm and she threw it at Stain, he screamed in pain, the whole left side was... melting?

I took this time to make a ice wall around me, Iida and Midoryia "What was that?!" Midoryia asked "His face... it started melting." I sat on the ground to catch my breath "You're not going to help her?" Iida asked "She'd probably beat me too if I got in her way. She's got this, I know it."

Nova's POV

I put my shield up in front of me as Stain threw his sword down on me, I pushed up and knocked the katana out of his hand. He pulled another one out but I used a sonic boom and pushed him through a building.

I sighed, "Need any help?" Shoto asked "No! I'm good, I've got this!" Stain came back from the building and I groaned "Can't villains just get knocked out for once?!"

He threw a knife at me but I moved out of the way, but it did go through the ice and I heard Shoto groaned "Bastard!"

I ran at him with fire engulfing my arm and I kicked his stomach, spinning with another kick to the side of his chest. I grabbed his arm and burned it, then freezing it.

"That's gonna hurt like a bitch." I said but I didn't expect him to make the next move, he pulled another katana out at stabbed me through the side.

"And that's gonna hurt like a bitch." He whispered and then he twisted it, I groaned and grabbed his shoulder, i covered his entire left side in ice, he pulled the katana out of me and licked the blood, my body was now paralyzed.

"Nova!" Shoto got down beside me as Iida took on Stain again "You're an idiot." "I'm your idiot though." blood came gushing out of my mouth, wasn't till now till I noticed the knife in my cheek.

"Oh no, no no." He had touched my side and when he looked at his hand, it was covered in blood. "Sho." He looked up at me "Fight."

Shoto's POV

I threw fire Stains way, Midoryia was up now.

Iida kicked him, Midoryia punched him and I threw ice and fire his way. Stain grabbed me when I least expected him to.

"Move and I kill him." I felt the knife against my throat, I looked over at Nova, she was passed out.

Iida moved his foot forward as he put his hand up "We can work this out." Stain shook his head, "No kid, you see that girl over there?" Stain pointed over at Nova "The bosses need her, she's the end of heroes."

Her quirk, but she doesn't have it anymore.

"Give me her and I'll give you him." "No! We won't!" Midoryia yelled "Fine then." I looked at what Stain had in his hand and it was some sort of device.

Nova's POV

"Ow.." I said "Sorry hon." Dr. Bev finished bandaging my side again and then pulled off the one on my cheek "The surgery was pretty messy. I mean when they opened the ambulance, there was blood everywhere." She grabbed my info board "You're brave for a 15 year old." I nodded "Wait, sorry. 16 year old now."

I laid back down and hugged my pillow that was laying on my chest "You know, your friends are worried about you. You can visit them but I'd have to put you in a wheelchair." I shook my head "Just tell them I'm glad they're okay." She nodded "Ever since I told you about that one boy losing his memory of you-" she said that and I instantly snapped back "Don't, just don't."

My birthday was the day that the attack happened, Shoto had been talking to me about after we were finished with Endeavor that he'd take me out for dinner. But that didn't happen, now did it?

I heard a knock on my door before my dad walked in. "Hey, I snuck in a pizza."

"How?" I asked and he sat it in front of me, he helped me sit up "Well they kinda let me." I nodded and opened the box "So, It's back? Your quirk?" "Yeah, turns out I almost killed my doctor. So I got these."

"Is everyone okay? You told me on text that Midoryia, Iida and Shoto were there."

"Shoto, he doesn't know who I am." I said with the straightest face, "Oh honey. Are you okay?" I looked him in the eye "Honestly, Dad. I can't feel a damn thing."

"Come here." He hugged me and I put my arms around him "It's okay, we can find a way to get him back."
