[11. Never in a million years]

Nova's POV

"You can go home today but make sure you don't over do yourself with training" the doctor said and left the room for me to get my things together.

'Should i call someone to come pick me up?'

I grabbed my phone and scrolled through my contacts and pressed on Aimi's

"Nova, what's up?" "Can you come pick me up from the hospital, my dad is working and he doesn't have the time" "Oh sure, I'll be there in 30 minuets" "Thanks" "Momo is coming too. We were studying when you called" "That's fine, and thanks again"

I grabbed my suitcase and put some things that I could in it and grabbed a gift bag or two for the rest but it frustrated me when I was folding my clothes so I just gave up and threw them in my suitcase, unfolded.

"Nova?" I looked up at the door and hugged Momo and Aimi "Want us to help?" Aimi asked and I nodded "I might need it, since I only have one arm" I joked and they grabbed the other two bags

"So... how'd it go with Todoroki?" Momo asked "It went well, he seemed really upset when he saw me though" "He's probably just worried. He seemed kind of out of it during these past few school days" Aimi said "I would be to if the person I was carrying was bleeding out, arm completely destroyed and said 'Why aren't you turning to stone'" I joked and Momo replied with "He carried you?" "Yes? I wasn't in the state of walking myself or at all" I said

'What the hell is wrong with her?' She was acting a bit mad by what I just said but I said nothing wrong or offensive. I rolled my eyes and walked in the elevator with the two and I pressed the first floor button. I started getting a daymare, more like just a flash back of my arm getting destroyed and me getting defeated which caused me to flinch and grip my suitcase handle but my friends didn't notice it. Good.

"Thanks for dropping me off" I said as I sat my suitcase in my room and Aimi and Momo sat the bags down "No problem, my parents are going to drop off Momo at the train station anyway so yeah" Aimi said and hugged me really tight "I'm glad you're alive" She said and I hugged her with my right arm "Me too" I smiled and she let go "If you need anything just give me a call" She said and they both left.

"I'm going to hate unpacking" I mumbled and started with my suitcase and opened some drawers and put stuff in without folding them since they're just plain t shirts.

After unpacking I noticed Makoto on my bed asleep and I petted his head which woke him up and he started to lick my hand and rub his head on my palm "I missed you too" I said and realized I should probably feed him "Let's get you some food" I got up out of my bed and headed into the kitchen and grabbed the cat food out of a cabinet since Makoto will try and get the bag off the counter if we leave it there "Here you go" I said and bent down trying to use my left arm but remembered that I don't have it so I put the food bag between my right arm and poured it. I put the food back up as Makoto started to eat it and sat on the couch while grabbing the remote and turned on Lucifer.

I started watching this show while I was in the hospital and I got through the whole first season and loved it.

{time skip}

"Nova?" I heard my dad walk into the apartment and waved at him "Yo old man" I said and he smiled "How's your shoulder? I remember that your doctors told me it would still kind of hurt" He asked "I took some pain medicine that they gave me so I feel fine" I said and stood up and stretched my back "I suppose you've already had dinner?" He asked and I nodded "I ate your left over sushi" "That's fine" Dad said and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge. I grabbed my iron man blanket off of the couch and started heading to my room but my dad stopped me "That's new. Who got it for you?" He asked "Oh it's from Todoroki. He stopped by two days ago and gave it to me" I said and my dad smiled "A boyfriend?" He wiggled his eyebrows and my face started to heat up for some unknown reason "Seriously? Never in a million years" I said and closed my bedroom door.

Nasi's POV

I smiled to myself as Nova closed her door, she acted like she wasn't blushing.

I remember seeing Todoroki at the hospital during one of his check ins on Nova but this was the first one and the nurse said he couldn't unless he had my permission.

"She's doing better" I said and handed the nurse at clipboard "You must be Todoroki Shoto, I'm Nova's dad. Aoki Nasi" I said and stuck my hand out for him to shake but he didn't so I just pulled my hand back to my side "How do you know my name?" Todoroki asked "Nova told me about you, well everyone in her class but she kind of.... well thought you were a prick" I said remembering her angry face and aura as she said 'I'm gonna kill that bastard' and I started sweating because of how scary she looked while saying it "I was, and I'm sorry for that" He said and I nodded "Well I have to get back to work but you are free to visit or ask how she's doing whenever, besides when visiting hours are over"

I cracked open Nova's door and she was sound asleep with her bed sheets covering her but also the Iron Man blanket and a All Might one at the end of her bed.

'Never in a million years my ass' I shook my head

I mean- this is okay.
