[16. Family]

I don't really remember everything about the Sports Festival so I'm just going with it.

Nova's POV

Before Shoto walked out for his match, I stopped him.

"Sho." He turned around "You'll be amazing." He smiled at me and walked up to me, cupping my right cheek "Thank you." He kissed my forehead and then walked out, my heart was pounding, it felt like it would come out of my chest.

I walked up to the seats and sat beside Aimi, "Are you and Todoroki finally dating, because you guys have literally been so clingy." Mina said "Are you jealous?" I teased "No, you two are just insanely cute together." "I have to admit, you two are quite a good match." Kirishima said "Thank you." I felt eyes burning in the back of my skull. I choose to ignore it.

His match started and he was up against Sero, and froze him once the match started. Well that wasn't long.

Shoto started to unfreeze Sero but I felt something off, he had to use his left side to unfreeze our classmate which was his fire side. What he calls, his fathers quirk.

Kirishima was up against Tetsutetsu, tie.

Uraraka was up against Bakugou, Bakugou won.

Midoryia was up against Shinsou, Midoryia won.

Aimi was up against Luce, Aimi won.

Next was the final three rounds which were

Aimi vs. Bakugou, Aimi wins

Midoryia vs. Shoto

I didn't know how this would go, Shoto hadn't come to sit with our class, I suppose he was sitting alone trying to figure out a plan for his next match or he didn't want to be bothered, as much as I probably should've gone to sit with him, he knew I wanted to watch everything happen.

He walked out but even from as far as he was away from me, I knew something was wrong.

"Somethings wrong." I mumbled "What do you mean?" Aimi asked "Shoto, something's wrong." She looked at me confused, then it happened.

That feeling I got when I was near my mom. She's here. Somewhere.

I felt the pit in my stomach as my eyes widened "Get. Aizawa. Now." I said and Aimi got up and ran to find Aizawa.

The match started and I watched, Shoto's movements were angered, Midoryia had already broken his fingers, Shoto just kept going and going and going with an ice attack. He wasn't going to win at this rate.

Sure Shoto was powerful but Midoryia, without Shoto's full power, he's not that much stronger.

"God damnit..."

I stood up and grabbed the railing.

"ITS YOUR QUIRK, NOT HIS!!!" I screamed and not a second later, my face almost got burnt off, along with a flash in my eyes, it was Shoto but stone. My mom's doing definitely.

The match ended and I ran to go see Shoto.

I ran down the hall he was walking down and threw myself at him with a hug, I was proud of him.
