[18. I Always Will]

No ones POV

Nova looked up at the ceiling, she couldn't fall asleep, too much was going on in her head. She played with her fingers as she was deep in thought.
Why did Shoto go through the trouble of saving her? Why didn't he just leave her there? I mean she was a jerk to him, not to mention how annoyed she was with him.

Shoto couldn't sleep either, he couldn't stop thinking about how he wants Nova to be with him during the week of being with his father constantly, if he were to ask for him. He wants to ask her to go with him but, what if something happened? What if she got hurt? Or worse? He couldn't live with himself knowing she got hurt, she's still healing, she's strong but he couldn't help but think the worse.

Shoto sat up in his bed and walked over to the door, he couldn't sleep, so he was going to see if Nova was awake but when he opened the door, she was standing there, about to knock.

"Hi." She said "Do yo-... Can you talk to me... about something." His voice was very low, like he was scared to ask her a simple question, "I was here to see if you were awake because I have to ask something." He let her in his room, he closed the door and she sat on the side of his bed. He looked at her, she had really bad bed hair but he thought she looked cute, wild, but cute.

"What was it you wanted to ask?" She asked and Shoto sat beside her "W- Will you come with me if my dad chooses me for my agency?" He didn't look at her but he did feel the coldness of her robotic hand on his cold hand, "Sho, look at me." He slowly looked up at her "Did you think I'd say no?" He nodded "Well that's not the case, because of course I'll go if that's the case." He smiled

"What did you want to ask?" Nova looked away for a second but looked back at him "Why did you save me at the U.S.J.?" He looked at her, confused "What do you mean?" She sighed "Why did you save my life, you could've gotten yourself killed." He didn't even take a second after she asked to wonder what to say, he already knew.

When he first met her, she was smiling, even though she had just thrown her guts up. Her smile made his heart pound, not knowing the unfamiliar feeling, he thought she had used a quirk on him, he was annoyed with her.

Nova was very gifted in training, she was fast, cold and hit really hard. He knew that from experience, Aizawa had paired everyone up for training and she kicked Shoto so hard in the stomach that that air was knocked out of him. She felt so bad after because he coughed a bunch.

As much as they annoyed each other, they still felt bad when the other hit the other extremely hard.

When he saw her in pain, he didn't think about himself, he just knew he had to help her.

"I didn't think about myself, I just wanted you safe. Alive." Nova chuckled "You're an idiot. A huge idiot." He smiled at her, he had three words he wanted to say but it wasn't the right time.

Nova turned herself to him, "Now, what did you want to know?" "It's kind of... well I don't know if my fathers agency will ask for me but if his does. Will you come with me? I don't want to be alone with him, is that selfish?" Nova's eyes softened "How is that selfish?" She was so confused on why he thought it was, "I-I don't know..." "Well, I'll go, and it's not selfish."

Shoto looked at her and his heart was pounding, she's gorgeous, even with bed hair.

Her smile was his favorite physical feature even though he loved everything about her, it had to be her smile that always got him, her laugh, oh how he loves that laugh. Her personality was amazing too, she's the perfect person to him.

"I-..." he couldn't say it, he shook his head and he felt a warm hand over his as she sat criss cross on his bed, facing his side.

"I think we should probably go to sleep, we do have school tomorrow." Nova said and before she got up off the bed "Do you want to sleep in here with me?" Her face turned the same color as Kirishima's hair, "You don't mind?" He shook his head "I honestly kind of want you to." She smiled as he rubbed the back of his neck, he felt the bed move and she was standing in front of him, between his legs and cupped his cheeks "You're precious, a bit too innocent for someone hot but it's fine." She joked and gained a laugh from him.

She kissed him and put her arms around his neck, he put his hands on her sides, a bit over her waist be since he was sitting on his bed, he couldn't reach her waist. The kiss went on as she moved her fingers into his hair and he got more passionate, she moved up onto his lap and they both pulled away from the kiss and leaned their foreheads on each other's.

A small laugh from the two and they looked into each other's eyes, "You're a good kisser." Nova said and Shoto chuckled "I'd hope so."

They both hugged and Shoto leaned back onto the bed with his arms still around her. "Thank you." Nova said "What for?" "Being here, caring about me." He smiled "I always will."
