Millie's cousin was on them the second they were through the door. Rachel had been instructed to check anything and everything Lilia had on her for things that could possibly harm another being.

Once the blonde was checked, they moved onto dinner, and from dinner both girls were ordered to shower then head to Millie's room for the night.

More like Rachel just wanted to have the living room to herself so her boyfriend could come over, but Millie didn't mind she liked her room plus other girl intrigued her.

Something about the way she carried herself made Millie wonder how she was brought up.

Lilia, however, was barely paying attention to the brunnette lounging on the bed. She was more focused on finding away out of the house that held her prison.

Everything about the house and this room screamed prison to Lilia, from the bars on the windows to the beige colored walls that held nothing-not even a poster.

Millie's desk had photos in little frames along with her Algebra book and phone, it looked to Lilia as if she had no life outside of here.

The pictures consisted of the same people with Millie: a brunette girl, a boy with brown floppy hair, and another boy who looked a different ethnicity than everyone else with curly black hair. Lilia assumed they were Millie's friends.

There were more pictures with the girl than anyone else, and Millie never looked happier.

"Who's this?" Lilia found herself asking the question before she could stop herself.

Millie glanced up at her. "Who?" She got off the bed, walking over to Lilia.

Lilia pointed to the girl. "Her."

Millie felt her breath hitch, blinking back a few tears. "T-that's Maddie." She answered quietly.

Even worse than that freaking name was the storm that suddenly settled over Hawkins sending lightning and thunder to shake the whole town.

Millie jumped at the lightning, her heart stopping briefly.

"She's pretty." Lilia looked at Maddie. "Maybe you can tell me about her sometime."

'Unlikely.' Millie thought. 'I don't talk to anyone about her. Not even the therapist.'

"You ever been to a party, Millie?" Lilia inquired, turning toward Millie with a mischievous smirk on her lips.

Millie shook her head. "Like birthday?"

Lilia laughed. "Let's go, princess, I'll show you what a party is." She walked to the bedroom door.

"We can't, Dad said not to leave." Millie reminded innocently. Lilia laughed.

"You're so innocent and cute." Lilia picked up her phone. She quickly sent a text. "Come on, Millie, we have a party to get to."

Millie hesitated a moment before following Lilia out of the room.

They managed to just walk out the kitchen door seeing as Rachel was pretty busy with Brooklyn.

Once outside, Lilia started walking. She knew where she was headed but Millie didn't.

"Where are we going?" Millie questioned for the millionth time as they walked.

The Chief's daughter wasn't so sure of this, in fact, she had wondered move than once on this trip if this girl was taking her to kill her; or worse to Ashes.

"You'll see Princess."

Lilia pulled open the back door to a club and stepped inside. "Welcome to the Madhatter, dollface."

Millie looked around wide eyed at all the people in oddly glowing, colorful neon clothes.

The whole place was blacklighted she realized meaning everyone was wearing clothes or body paint that glowed in the dark.

She smiled softly at all the pretty colors. "Why is everything so-"

"Rose!" A male voice called happily. "I was afraid you weren't going make it." A boy appeared from behind the bar, a glass in his hands. "Your outfit is in the back. Who's your friend."

Lilia smiled. "Thank you, Will." She motioned to Millie. "This is a new friend of mine Millie. Millie, this is Will."

Will flashed Millie a grin, sliding two drinks forward. "Your usual."

He wasn't a bad looking boy. He looked about seventeen to Millie with sandy hair and stark blue eyes, however, his accent was what she noticed most. He was the Miller's son so why was he in a place like this?

"You're Shannon Miller's son aren't you?"

He didn't answer her only smiled as another boy showed up. "Asher."

Asher smiled. "Hey Will. Lils, good to see you. I heard that the chief had you locked up."
