She barely paid any attention to Lilia, however, as she slipped the cuff from her wrist. "Sorry about him. He was an awful man." She said softly.
"Who are you?" Lilia asked again. "And why save me?"
"Because I'll always save you." She answered.

"Dad?" Millie called out upon finding the living room and study empty. "Dad, we need to talk."
She checked the whole house. "Rach? Lils? Anyone?"
It was empty. No one was here to hear what she had found out, or tell her where her father was.
Millie fished her phone out and dialed Julian. "Hey, can I come over? I need someone to talk to."

Mackenzie watched as Maddie had dressed the cadaver from the morge. "You sure this is gonna work?"
"I already worked it out with Jack and Nicholas. You'll be fine and so will I." Maddie had assured her younger sister.
But now as Kenzie tiptoed down the path to where Millie laid Maddie. She wondered if it truly had worked.
If Maddie had somehow escaped death. She knew the answer already though.
She didn't need to see the fake body still in the woods to know Maddie had truly died that night.

"You coming, baby girl?" The girl asked, her back to Lilia.
Lilia looked up and grinned, she knew who it was the girl she loved. "How'd you find me, Em?"
Emily brushed a few locks of blonde back, turning to glance at her. "David was my client and Ash tipped me off."
Lilia stood and rushed to her before she could really think about it. She pulled Emily against her and kissed her hard.
"How about we made one last memory for you on this couch?" Lilia asked softly.
Emily kissed her again. "What about Millie?"
"Millie who? I got what I wanted from her already." Lilia pulled her down into her lap. "Less talking."

"You should be at Sadie's funeral." Julian pointed out as he sat across from Millie in the corner booth.
"As should you." Millie took a sip of her drink. "Jules, Cameron killed Sadie."
"How do you know?"
"I just do. Cameron told me he would kill everyone I loved until he got what he wanted." She stated. "He took Maddie. Now he's taken Sadie. Who's next?"
"What are you thinking, Mills?" Julian knew the look in her eye and it was one he didn't like.
Millie paused a moment. "I need to kill him." She said finally. "But until I can, I need to leave."
"Where are you gonna go, Millie?" Julian didn't like the sound of this.
"I don't know yet, but I have to go before one of you end up dead because of me." Millie slipped from the booth. "And don't try to talk me out of it either."
Julian scrambled from the booth after her. "Let me come with you!" He grabbed her wrist. "We've done everything together."
"I can't risk you getting hurt." She leaned forward, pressing her lips to his cheek. "It's time for me to be daddy's little girl, Jules, time to grow up."
Julian shook his head. "Millie, don't do this." He pleaded.
She closed her eyes. "I have to. Goodbye Julian."
"I won't let you!" He called after her.
Millie watched the diner door close behind her, sealing her from the best friend she loved so much. "You can't go where I am." She whispered.
Millie knew what had to be done, and for this she would have to go alone. She couldn't take anyone with her into the gates of hell.
She was going to barter with the devil for the souls of her friends. Going to be the girl her daddy raised her to be.
To kill the man who had taken away her love and life, turned her into who she was now.
