"Listen thanks for saving me, Romeo, but I gotta go." Millie rushed out. "I've been a fool for so long and tonight made me realize that."
Romeo nodded then sighed. "You need me to drive you somewhere?" He asked politely.
"No.....no it's not far from here I'll be fine." Millie sounded more sure than she had been ever in her life. She wanted only one thing. "Thank you again, Romeo, and I'll see you around."
With that Millie took off down the street. She had someone waiting for her back home. Someone sweet and gorgeous that deserved to hear Millie finally admit they were more than just some game.
The streets became a blur as she ran as fast as her legs would take her. Finally four blocks and one stop later, her street and house came into view. Millie took the steps two at a time and threw open the door.
Lilia sat at the kitchen counter, racking her brain for a way to find where Millie had disappeared to, when she heard the front door slam open. "Rach?" She called without turning around.
No one would mess with the Chief's house besides the blonde could handle her own.
Millie ran to her, throwing her arms around her. "Lils."
"Baby girl?" Lilia spun the stool to face her. "Millie..."
The chief's daughter didn't waste a moment in grabbing Lilia's shirt and pulling her close, kissing her passionately.
Lilia smiled into the kiss happy to see Millie okay and safe.
They kissed for a moment before pulling away from each other a little.
"I love you." Millie confessed after a pause.
"Y-you l-love me?" Lilia was stunned.
Millie nodded a little. "I love you more than I have ever loved anyone in my life, Lilia Buckingham, and I want you to stay with me forever."
"I love you too." Lilia grinned. "And how?"
Millie pulled a small box from her pocket and held it out to Lilia.
Lilia slowly took it and opened the velvet box to reveal a rose gold ring with a red rose in it.

Lilia gasped, it wasn't fancy or anything but she loved it. "What is this, Mills?" She looked at her girlfriend for confirmation of what she already knew.
Millie bit her lip. "Marry me, Lilia Buckingham, and let me show you what real love is." She said, staring with love into Lilia's eyes.
Lilia burst into tears, nodding fiercely. "Yes. Yes. Yes. A thousand times yes." She hugged Millie tightly. "Put it on me?"
Neither cared that they were young or hadn't been dating long. They knew no one would ever love them like the other did.
Millie slid the ring onto her fiance's finger, kisses the spot where it laid. "with this I promise to never leave you."
"Come on," Lilia pulled her toward the stairs. "Let me show you how much I love you."

The two girls spend the day cuddling until they finally got hungry.
Millie stood in the kitchen cooking pasta as Lilia went to get the door. After a long moments pause, Millie turned the music down. "Babe?"
"Princess, come here." Lilia called, her voice shaking a little.
Millie walked into the entry hall to find Deputy Heaton and his boys standing with Lilia. "What can I do for you, Deputy?" She asked calmly and sweetly.
"It's chief now." Charlie Heaton corrected. "Millie Harbour, I'm here to arrest you for the murder of Cameron Field." He almost sounded sad about it as he cuffed her.
Handcuffs three times in one day? This just wasn't Millie's day.
Millie looked at her Converse covered feet, too ashamed to look Lilia in the key.
Chief Heaton gave Lilia a sad look. "We have a witness and her DNA is on the knife that killed him. She did." He pushed Millie toward the door.
Millie knew Asher turned her in, but it was okay she deserved this. Deserved to go to jail because she had killed Cameron no matter how freeing it felt.
The brunette looked over her shoulder. "I love you, Lilia."
"I love you too, baby, and we'll figure this out." Lilia blew her a kiss. "We'll figure this out."
Lilia watched sadly as Chief Heaton loaded Millie into the backseat of a squad car. She, too, knew who turned Millie in and wouldn't stop until her fiance was returned to her.
