"You know me, Ashy, the pigs can't keep me away from you." Lilia smiled. "But tell me why did you just say my real name?"
"Because it's your name?" Asher said slowly, a little confused. His hazel eyes finally landed on Millie. "Oh sorry." He stuck out a hand. "Asher. Asher Angel."
Millie shrank away from his hand like a spider was sitting on his outstretched hand. She had heard about the famous Asher or rather Ashes when her father was up late muttering about the kids who were torturing their town, therefore she wanted nothing to do with that hand.
"Lilia." She said. "That's your real name, Rose, how interesting." Millie smiled. "I'm Millie Harbour."
Asher turned a little pale. "Why is the Chief's daughter here, Lilia?" He demanded.
Lilia gave him a blank stare, curling and uncurling a piece of hair. "Really, Ash, you think I would bring someone here if I thought they were harmful? This little munchkin couldn't harm a fly."
The two continued to argue, but Millie wasn't listening anymore. Her attention had shifted the minute she caught his cold brown eyes. Her blood ran cold as they locked eyes and she wanted to cry. She knew every detail about the man who haunted her day and night from his cold brown eyes to his spiky platinum hair and dirty jean jacket. Cameron Fields was his name. Satan in human form.
He looked at her, a smirk formed on his face as he motioned her over to him. "Millie." He mouthed.
Have you ever looked a cold blooded murderer dead in the eyes? Well that's about the scariest feeling you can ever have so as Cameron made his way to her, Millie slowly backed away.
She did so until her back hit the sheet rocked wall. He was in front of her, pinning her to the wall. "C-Cameron." She shakily got out, her eyes looking anywhere but him.
Lilia had disappeared with Asher and Will seemed to be MIA as well. She was all alone in a crowded club to wrestle him alone.
Cameron smirked. "Hello, little rat, are you being good?" He asked but it wasn't a question.
Tears spilled down Millie's cheeks as she shakily got out a "Yes."
Before he could do much else someone pushed him off her. "Back off, Field!"
A familiar small girl with dark hair stood in a leather jacket looking quite intimidating. "Mills!"
"Kenzie!" Millie smiled and the two girls embraced.
Cameron got up, made his way to him, and went to smack Kenzie; but before he could someone stopped him. "Don't you even think about hitting my girl, Field, I'll have everyone in this room on you in a heartbeat." This was a new voice for Millie but not for Kenzie.
"I had that John." She sighed.
"Of course you did, babydoll." He said. "I'll be over there if you need me."
Kenzie nodded, never once looking away from Millie. It had been so long since the last time the girls had seen each other, and they were taking a second to soak it all in.
"You're so grown up." Millie finally said.
Kenzie nodded a little. "Yeah and so are you." She hugged Millie again.
"Maddie would be so proud of you." Millie held her closer. "So proud."
At this both girls lost it a little and began to cry, both feeling like they were back in the rain watching as the Chief searched for.....
"Princess?" It was Lilia. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine." Millie wiped her eyes, slowly turning to look at Lilia. "What is it?"
The girl didn't need to look at Kenzie to see the shocked expression she must have held upon hearing the word princess.
"Nothing, Johnny just said you were needed help." Lilia looked at Kenzie. "Shall we head back?"
Millie gave Kenzie's shoulder a squeeze. "Call me sometime, Kenz, my number's still the same."
Kenzie smiled. "I will, Mills." But both girls knew it was a lie. It brought too much to either of them to be around each other.
Millie left without another word to the girl who bore the same grief as she did.
"You wanna get something to eat?" Lilia suggested. "I doubt Rachel cooked."
Millie said yes but she didn't really feel like eating. All she wanted to do was curl up and cry for the rest of the night.
