Element XXV

Standing in the back yard with the other pack members, I think it was safe to say that Helen is definitely the Knight wolf.

I had to mentally remember to shut my mouth when watching her fight prince Julian. She was incredible to watch. She was strong and fierce when in combat and easily demolished the competition. She literally just defeated a royal while in human form. That was unheard of in our kind.

Smiling to myself, I couldn't believe she was my cousin. If only Zayne was here to see it for himself.

"Alora, I need you in my office please. Bring Helen and Cole with you." As if he knew I was thinking about him, I pushed off from the railing and made my way towards Helen.

"Dude! That was amazing!" I said approaching her. "Who knew you could fight like that! I cannot wait to see your wolf in action." I said clapping her on her shoulder.

"Please, stop. I feel so awkward as it is with everyone watching." She said twisting her hands nervously together.

"Be proud Helen. You are a very powerful wolf now." Grinning at Helen, I could tell Julian encouraged her.

"So tell me, how did you know you could take him down like that?" I asked, interested in her fighting logic. Honestly, I probably would have never thought of doing what she did.

"Well, I knew that I was out weighed and I knew his wolf was bound to be stronger so I had to think smart. I honestly didn't know if that would work but I knew I only needed a moment where I would have the advantage. Putting myself in his shoes, I had to think about what abilities I would be most confident about; tracking with that train of thought, I had to compromise his speed and strength. Clothes lining him just seemed like fun." Ending with a laugh, I smiled watching her feel at ease again. She was so awesome and I still couldn't wrap my mind around it.

"Alora, where are you guys." Jumping at the sound of Zayne's voice, I completely forgot that he called us to his office.

"Ugh Julian, do you mind if I steal her for a bit? Zayne needs to see us in his office. "

"Yeah no problem, we will have practice tonight at five Helen so do not wander off."

At the mention of more training, Helen's back went straight and she shoot Julian a strange look.

"More training? Why?" She asked with a shocked look on her face.

"Helen, have you not realized that you are the Knight wolf yet you have no elemental abilities yet? We need to get started on your abilities."

"To be honest, I didn't even notice it actually." Helen said with a bewildered look on her face.

"Exactly. But don't worry; we will work on it this afternoon. Now go see the alpha and I will talk to you later."

Turning to leave, we watched Julian walk off toward the forest before disappearing behind the trees.

"So, are you ready to go see Zayne?" I asked leading Helen into the pack house.

"Yeah I guess. Did he say why he wanted us?" Shaking my head no, I had an idea what he wanted to talk about.

"No he didn't, however, he wanted Cole as well so I guess we will see." Climbing the stairs to the fourth floor, when we finally made it to his office, I knocked and heard Zayne tell us to come in.

Opening the doors, I scanned the room and saw Cole and Michael already there with Zayne behind the desk. Walking in, I immediately stood next to Cole and waited for Zayne to speak when suddenly I heard a growl.

Whipping my head around to look at Zayne, I saw him gripping his desk until his knuckles were white and his eyes were pitch black.

Shifting my gaze to what he was starring at, I saw Helen standing in the door way frozen. Scrunching my brow, I couldn't understand why Zayne would threaten Helen when he clearly knew her.
