Tay swallowed hard. She didn't want to have to deal with Ms. Williams yet. She had skipped class yesterday to avoid talking to her but Jenna wouldn't let her do it again.

"It'll be fine. Just tell her how you feel. Get it all out on the table and if she rejects you, I'll be there with Chinese, icecream, and all the Disney classics to cheer you up. Okay?" Jenna gave her a bright smile. She was a good friend.

Tay nodded and took a deep breath before walking into the classroom. Ms. Williams saw her immediately and noticeably tensed, but didn't say a word. Tay and Jenna sat down in their usual seats and waited for class to begin.

Ms. Williams was thrown off by Tays presence. She was worried. What if she told someone? Her whole life would be ruined. Instead of doing what she had planned that day, she assigned them a story to read out of their textbooks.

When class ended, Jenna gave Tays hand a reassuring squeeze, letting her know it would all be fine before she left without her for lunch. Tay waited for everyone to leave before she stood and walked up to her teacher

"We should probably talk." Tay said.

The redhead sighed and looked down at her hands.

"I suppose we should."

Tay walked over to the other side of the desk where she sat.

"You were right."

Ms. Williams looked up at her surprised. Tay caught that she didn't understand and decided to elaborate.

"You changed me."

Ms. Williams looked down at her lap again and nodded. An awkward silence settled over them before Ms. Williams finally decided to speak.

"I've never done that before. I've never...kissed one of my students. I'm not a pervert I swear."

She felt like she needed to say that. She wanted to defend herself. She wasn't a freak. She didn't deserve to go to jail.

"Then why did you?" Tay asked

Why did she? She just remembered being so close to her. She remembered how soft her skin felt. It was intoxicating. She was intoxicating. But she couldn't say that.

"I...don't know."

They were silent again before Tay sighed.

"I'm not going to tell anyone, don't worry."

Ms. Williams was shocked.

"Why? Why would you do that for me?"

Tay smiled shyly and shrugged. "I think I kinda like you."

The green eyed girl bit her lip to try and stop the smile from spreading. "I think I kinda like you too."

They both smiled at eachother.

"So now what?" Tay asked, unsure of where they should go from here. Ms. Williams only smiled "Now, I ask you out for coffee and you say yes?" It was more of a question than a statement so Tay nodded.

"Yes"
