"If we sing Joy To The World one more time I think I might kill someone." Jenna told Tay as they walked from Chorus to English.

"You're just a grinch Jen. I don't know why you're always so negative about Christmas, it's the best."

The blonde shrugged. "Everything's just so...religious. I prefer my birthday. I get all the presents, I don't have to buy any for anyone else, and no ones singing about Jesus."

Tay rolled her eyes as they walked into class. She personally loved everything about Christmas. The snow, the gingerbread houses, the presents, the love. And this year was especially great because she had someone to curl up with by the fireplace and cuddle.

Tay looked up at Hayley and they smiled at each other but Hayley soon turned away. It was weird but she didn't think anything of it.

Class began and Hayley assigned a worksheet for them to complete and then took a seat at her desk. About ten minutes later she spoke up. "Jenna. May I speak with you in the hallway please?"

Tay and Jenna exchanged a weird look but Jenna obliged to the request. As soon as the door shut Hayley groaned. "Please help me. Christmas is two weeks away and I have no idea what to get Tay."

Jenna's look of confusion soon turned into one of amusement. "That's so cute."

Hayley groaned again. "I'm serious. Please help me? Pretty please?" Jenna laughed.

"Okay fine. But you know Tay will love anything you get her. You really don't need me."

Hayley gave her a stern look. "I really do. I give the worst gifts. Ever. And according to Tay, she's the best."

Jenna laughed again. "She really is. I'll help. Meet me at the mall tomorrow at noon. I'll wear a disguise so people don't get the wrong idea."

Hayley nodded and they both headed back into the room. When Jenna sat down Tay raised an eyebrow at her asking, 'what was that about?' But Jenna shook her head and chuckled.

Tay threw a wad of paper at her to try and get her to talk but she just threw it back.

"Ladies. Stop throwing things. Act your age." Hayley said but there was a small smile on her face.

Both the girls stuck their tongues out at each other and continued working.

Tay would just ask Hayley later, but after class had ended and she walked up to her desk looking for answers, Hayley gave the sane reaction Jenna did.

It was peculiar. Very peculiar.
