Chapter Twelve

"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" Vic and his brother Mike chanted.

Jenna groaned. "Will you knock it off you cunts? We're not kissing just so you can jack off to the thought of it later. Now who told you?"

The Fuentes brothers frowned. "Fine be that way. And what do you mean who told us? The whole school is talking about it."

Tays eyes grew wide as she turned to her best friend.

"Jen, what the hell? Did you tell someone besides the boys? I didn't want this out!" Tay ran her fingers through her hair. Faking it in front of the boys was going to be hard enough. Now she had to fake it in front of the whole school? It was going to be exhausting.

"No one I swear! I'm sorry Tay. I know you didn't. We'll figure it out." Jenna placed a reassuring hand on Tays shoulder but Tay moved away from her.

"Don't touch me." She said and everyone else looked at her in shock.

"Whoa, uhh. Didn't mean to start a lovers spat. Sorry. Come on Mike. Let's leave them alone." Vic and Mike then made there exit leaving just the two girls.

"Tay I'm really sorry I didn't-" she was caught off by Tays laughing.

"And I thought I was shitty at acting. You actually thought I was mad it you?"

Jenna breathed a sigh of relief and then punched Tay in the arm.

"You asshole! You scared the shit out of me. Why'd you do that for?"

The brown eyed girl smirked. "I'm thinking ahead. People see that we're 'fighting' and then they won't be so shocked when we 'break up'" Tay explained, putting air quotations around the words "fighting" and "breakup."

Jenna nodded. "That's smart thinking there Ms. Jardine. So tell me, when are you planning on breaking up with me?"

Tay shrugged. "I'm not sure. We don't have to stay together long. We can just say we decided we were better as friends then as lovers." At the word lovers, Tay wiggled her eyebrows, which caused Jenna to laugh.

"Okay, so then in a week or two, yeah?"

Tay nodded. "Yeah."

Just then, the bell rang and they headed off to their first class of the day. School was uneventful though, until fifth period English, of course.

They were working in groups. Jenna, Tay, Mike Fuentes and Jack Barakat were all together in one. Tay and Jenna held hands on top of the desk just for them.

About halfway through class Hayley called Tay up to her desk.

"Yes ma"am?" She asked trying to suppress a smile. Hayley did the same.

In a whispered voice she said, "I thought you only told your friends that you were dating her?"

Tay looked around to make sure no one was paying attention, they weren't. They couldn't hear their whispered conversation over the small group chatter.

"Yeah. It got out." She said as she shrugged sheepishly.

Hayley laughed. "I know. All my other students are talking about it. They all think you're quite cute together."

Tay could hear the hint of jealousy in Hayley's voice so she smirked and leaned in closer to her. "Not as cute as you and me. Remember, Jenna means nothing. I'm yours."

Tay stood up straight after that, turned, and walked back to her desk. Swaying her hips a little more than she needed just because she knew Hayley was watching.

"What did she want?" Jenna asked as Tay took her seat again.

"She told me to keep the PDA to a minimum. This is a place of learning after all."

Jenna laughed. Hayley was jealous and she knew it.

A/N: sorry I didn't update for TWO WHOLE DAYS. Haha. I'm in college and I got shit faced this weekend so yeah. I like the next chapter and that'll be up probably tomorrow. The tayley, jardougall feud will end....for now.
