Tay sat at her desk in chemistry and assessed everyone else. It had been a week since Hayley was arrested and she was still searching for the jerk that caused it all. What giant douche bag would do something like that?

Her eyes skimmed the room until they landed on Alex. He was defiantly a possibility.

She stood up from her seat and took the one next to him. He smiled arrogantly. "Had enough of girls already? Want to try what a real man is like?"

As much as she hated to, she giggled. "Maybe. Are you offering to be that man?"

Alex leaned in close to her. "Damn right I am."

Tay forced a smile and tried to ease into a conversation. "So you have Ms. Williams, right? Did you hear she got arrested?"

"Oh yeah, she's a real pervert I hear. She was feeling up boys. That's fucked up."

Tay clenched her jaw and fists. She wanted to punch him in the face, but she couldn't. She had to find out who did it, so she willed herself to calm down.

"Yeah" Tay sighed "I feel really bad for the boy though. That's really rough. If I knew who he was I would do anything to make him feel better."

Alex looked at her, wide eyed. "Anything? I mean, don't you think it's kind of pathetic he couldn't fend her off?"

Tay shook her head. "No. Of course not. He's strong for coming forward. Really strong."

Alex looked around worried and then leaned into her. "It was me." He whispered.

Bingo.

Alex would never take credit for something he didn't do. He was to proud for that.

Tay fake gasped. "Oh my god. You poor thing. Here," Tay took out a piece of paper and wrote a room number on it. She knew it was always empty because Hayley had asked her to meet there instead of her classroom several times.

"Meet me in here at lunch time and I'll show you just how strong you are."

Alex put on a smug smile, but before he could say anything, Tay moved back to her seat. She pulled out her phone and texted Hayley.

To Hayley: I found the asshole

A/N: Alex? Of all people? Sorry Alex fans but he's a jerk so I had to. On an unrelated note, if any Jardougall fans are interested, I wrote a oneshot. Go check it out. It's called "Distract Me From Where It Hurts." I promise it's good..
