"Okay, which of you let it out about me and Jen?" Tay asked the guys once they made it to lunch. They all pointed at Mike.
"Whoa! I only told the All Time Low guys. It's not my fault they can't keep a secret."
The All Time Low guys were Alex, Jack, Zack, and Rian. That was the name of their cliche. They showed up to a party one time already completely trashed and made total asses of themselves. Everyone said they had hit an all time low, and so their group name was created.
"You should have known they can't. Especially Alex."
Mike only shrugged. It wasn't his problem. Tay sighed and turned to Jenna.
"Boys are idiots."
Jenna smirked. "Oh I know. That's why you're with me."
Tay rolled her eyes. "I wouldn't be so cocky if I were you. Remember yesterday? I think I've still got a thing for guys."
Jenna furrowed her brow for a second before she realized Tay was starting another "fight." She immediately understood Tays plan.
"Can we not talk about that right now?"
"Well when are we supposed to talk about it Jenna? We can't just keep ignoring it." Tays raised her voice a little.
Jenna opened her mouth to answer but the boys stopped her.
"Whoa guys" Jordan said
"Yeah, just calm down." Whak added.
Tay and Jenna sighed and looked at each other.
"I'm sorry." Jenna muttered.
Tay shook her head. "No. I'm sorry."
The boys smiled. "Great." Jordan said. "Now kiss and make up."
At that, Tay tensed up. Kiss? They had never planned on kissing. She looked into Jenna's eyes. They seemed to say, "I'm really sorry, but we probably should."
Tay nodded. She knew that they needed to do it to please the boys. So silently they both leaned forward.
Jenna was afraid. She had feelings for Tay before, what if this kiss made them resurface? What if she couldn't control them? What if it ruined their friendship?
All those thoughts faded from her mind as soon as their lips touched. It was a good kiss, great in fact, but there was not a single spark. Jenna actually sighed into the kiss out of relief before they both pulled away.
"There. All better." Tay said, speaking to the boys. Jenna nodded in agreement. "All better." She stated.
The rest of the day went by normally. Tay was walking down the hallway to her locker at the end of the day when she felt herself being pulled into a classroom. She would have freaked out if she didn't know exactly who's classroom it was.
"Hayley, what the-"
She was cut off by Hayley's lips being pressed against hers rather forcefully. She moaned into her mouth but gently pushed Hayley away.
"Hayley, we can't. Especially not here."
But Hayley ignored her words and pushed Tay hard against the wall and connected their lips once again.
Tay wanted to give in but the risk of being caught was to great so despite how great it felt, she pushed Hayley away again.
"Hayley. No."
The red head sighed and turned away from her. She took a seat at her desk and buried her head in her hands. "I'm sorry." She muttered.
Shocked, Tay came up beside her and placed her hand on her back and began rubbing soothing circles. "It's okay. Just talk to me. What's going on?"
Hayley sighed and lifted her head. "You guys kissed."
Tay almost laughed but she held it in. "That's what this is about? Hayley. It didn't mean anything."
Hayley stood up and began pacing. "But how can I be so sure? I mean, she's pretty, she's your best friend, she has an accent, she's your age. Why would you stay with me when she's better? Safer."
Tay wrapped her arms around Hayley to get her to stop pacing and kissed her softly on the lips.
"Because she isn't you. She's my best friend but that's it. Yeah, she's safer but that doesn't matter. Age is just a number, remember?"
"Yeah but-"
Tay cut her off with a kiss. "Shh. No buts. I like you Hayley Williams. And only you."
Hayley smiled and bit her lip. "Okay." She said softy.
Tay kissed her lips one more time before she pulled away. "Now that that's cleared up, I want you to meet Jen. Outside of school."
Hayley raised an eyebrow. "And whys that?"
"Well you're my girlfriend and my best friend. You're both really important to me. I want you to know each other past the student teacher thing."
Meeting Jenna outside of school and getting to know her was not exactly on the top of Hayley's to do list but she wanted to make Tay happy, and if that's what it took she couldn't say no.
"Fine, but I get to hold your hand. Not her."
Tay giggled at her jealousy over her friend. She was to cute.
"Of course."
