Tay wrapped her arms around Hayley and groaned.

"I need a vacation."

Hayley laughed. "We've only been back in school for two weeks since Christmas. How do you already need a break?"

Tay pulled away and sat down in Hayley's chair. "You're a teacher. You don't get it. There's so much drama."

The red head folded her arms across her chest and scoffed. "Teachers have drama. You know Mr. Johnson?"

"The hot economics teacher?"

Hayley rolled her eyes. "Yeah. He can't show his face in the teacher lounge because people caught him flirting with Mr. Killings wife."

"Ooo, so scandalous." Tay said sarcastically. It earned her a slap on the leg from Hayley.

"So you have some drama but it's different when you're a student. It sucks."

Hayley grabbed Tays hand and pulled her back up into her arms. "I know. I was one not to long ago. What's wrong?"

Tay sighed. "Me and Jenna may or May not be in a fight right now."

Hayley squeezed Tay tightly. "What happened?"

Tay sighed again. She couldn't tell Hayley the whole story. She promised Jenna she wouldn't. So she thought for a moment before speaking.

"I sort of accidentally broke up her and Cassadee."

Hayley gasped. "Tay! What did you do?"

Tay pulled out of the hug. "Nothing I just...it's complicated hayles..."

Tay hoped that Hayley wouldn't push it further if she acted like she didn't want to talk about it. Thankfully, it worked.

"Go talk to her then. You guys are best friends. You shouldn't fight."

"She really doesn't want to talk to me right now."

Hayley shook her head and pointed towards the door. "I beg to differ."

Tay turned to see Jenna standing in the doorway. She shot Tay a small smile before returning her gaze to her feet. "Can we talk?"

"Yes." Tay turned back to Hayley and said, "I'll be right back" before following behind Jenna, out of the room.

When they were far enough down the hall, Jenna turned to Tay.

"Tay look, I didn't mean to brush you off like that I just-"

Tay held up her hands in front of herself to shut Jenna up. She shook her head. "No. It's okay. I get it. It was kinda my fault you guys broke up."

Jenna rolled her eyes. "It wasn't your fault Tay. It was mine. I'm the one with the feelings. I'm the one that's...messing everything up..."

Jenna wrapped herself in her arms. "I want to be friends Tay. I do. I just don't know how to deal with this. I get jealous of Hayley. Even just hanging out with you... It's different Tay. It's not like before."

Tay nodded. She didn't know that it was this hard on her. "Would it help if I didn't tease you?"

The blonde bit her lip and nodded and so did Tay. "I'm really sorry Jen."

Jenna shrugged. "For what?"

Tay sighed. "That I messed things up with Cassadee, that I've been making this harder on you, that I can't love you back. I just...I'm really sorry. I wish I could."

Jenna reached out for Tay and pulled her into a hug. "Don't feel bad. None of that is your fault. I'll be fine. We'll get back to normal."

Tay nodded. "Promise?"

"Promise."
