Epilogue

"Thank you," I pressed my phone to end the call and stopped the car in front of the house I grew up in.

I turned the engine off and put my phone in my pocket. Grabbing my bag from the passenger seat, I opened the door and got out.

"Good morning, Raegan." Manang Yolly greeted beside her son Charlie.

"Ako na po dito," Charlie said, taking the bag from me.

"Padala na lang sa kwarto, Charlie. Salamat." I turned to Manang Yolly. "Si Genesis po?"

"Nasa may swimming pool po sila."

I nodded and made my way to the back of the house.

On the hallway, Azula's daughter, Korra came bounding to greet me, her tail wagging in excitement. I bent down to pet her. "Hey, girl."

Korra looks exactly like Azula who passed away a few years ago. Some days I still miss her as she's one of mom's last gifts to me before she passed away, but time passes by and everyone eventually has to go. Azula can't live forever.

Korra barked and motioned for me to follow her. I knew what that meant so I just let her lead the way to the back of the house where I found my beautiful wife sitting on the edge of the swimming pool, braiding the hair of our daughter who's petting a puppy on her lap.

"Mommy!" Rain squealed as soon as she saw me, but she stayed put since Genesis is still busy with her hair.

"Hello, baby." I knelt down and kissed her on the forehead before leaning in to kiss Genesis on the lips. "Nag-lunch na kayo?"

"Hindi pa. Hinihintay ka namin."

"Mommy!" A boy screamed from behind me.

I turned to look and found our first born son waving his hands on the second floor balcony. His pale skinny body glistening in the sunlight. For a moment I am reminded of my deceased brother, Reiniel who had the same hair color and body built.

"Watch me!" He shouted and then jumped.

I watched in half horror and half awe as his small body spun in the air in a perfect tuck before hitting the water with little disturbance. A moment later, his head poked out of the water near us.

"Henry, that was perfect. Matagal ka bang nagpa-practice?" I asked.

Henry beamed proudly at me and once again I am reminded of my brother. He had the same smile. "Everyday for a week po."

"That's good. Keep practicing, okay?"

"Yes po."

I looked at Rain and smiled at her. "Ilang rotation yun?"

"Three." She answered.

"And how many degrees are there in three full rotations?"

"One thousand eighty." She muttered, suddenly red.

"Correct," I pinched her cheeks and smiled proudly at her.

Genesis gave me a disapproving look but I just smiled back.

"Sige na, Henry, mag-shower ka na. Maglulunch na tayo." Genesis said, tying Rain's hair and letting the girl stand up. "Rain, paayos na nung papers mo sa table."

Henry swam to the pool stairs and wiped himself with a towel before disappearing inside the house.

"Let's go, Koko." Rain said to the puppy and went to the nearby table where there are books and papers left open.
